She's really cute. But i rather like if you color her staf and the legs too.
Because this looks really weird.

AWWWWsome!! The inking is really good. I love the paper that it's on. It kinda looks like it's etched into stone. kawaii!

I think the hands from what I can see of the original sketch, look perfect. The legs as well look positioned very nicely. But to even out her face I would add more ruffles to the end of her skirt, and maybe even ribbons since you have them in her hair, that is if those are ribbons But I really do love the line work with the ink. It really gives the piece overall a good feel. Hope you finish it and that it turns out great. ^_^

Edit: One more thing lol, if you do end up lengthening the dress, I would lower the edge of the boots below her knee.

I as well had a hard time with ruffles as well, I would recommend referencing for those. lol, a good reference medium wouldbe chobits, there's lots of frills and ruffles in chobits lol. But anyway, I'm sure if you just work from reference, and then experiment from that reference, it might all work out. Or at least thats how it worked for me. Good luck XD

XD lol actually yah I tried that b4! Chobits iz a very VERY good reference for ruffles..i can draw them just fine when I'm looking at another picture of them..but for some reason my brain can't comprehend the *for now* without a picture..so they turn out looking like..*above picture* lol. Actually I did a lesson for our anime club (i was the art director last year) on ruffles and folds and etc. and i mainly used pictures from chobits ^^;..'cuz I couldn't do it right otherwise..*haha*..thanks for the recommendation though..I blame these evil hands of mine..lol.

lol well it isn't color itz ink, but that's why this is a in progress picture. I never inked the staff or her legs because I was too worried i'd mess it up and to me the hands just didn't look right..so I left it alone..I still like it anyways, thanks for your comment!

ahahaha *blushies* thanks so much! Lol this was done in my sketchbook, I believe it's recycled paper..but w/e it is it was expensive for a sketchbook ($10 lol..our teach offered them to us so most of us got one, the paper is awesome X3).

I think its too late to even out her face XD..*slaps her hands for such a horrible mistake* I still have problems doing ruffles..that's another reason why i put a halt to this picture..i couldn't get the skirt to look right either ..itz one of my better attempts at ruffles too..oh and btw her boots *are* below her knee..barely visable tho..but yah those are stockings that go above her knee ^^;..
