My favorite artist is Kawashita Mizuki and Akimoto Osamu.
Ken Akamatsu. Why? You're probably saying its becuase of the girls. no, its not because of his drawings of "girls" but because his art in general is great.
Ken akamatsu is one of my all-time favorites because my first manga was Love Hina. his lovable characters and his lovable poses XD

I am too! ^_^ CLAMP, Toshihiro Ono, Rumiko Takahashi, Kazuki Takahashi.. can't think of any others... but I like the artists that do the dothack series.,. It looks very familiar to the art style of Evangelion.. well...at least the video game does... I like the art style of Eva. And Excel Saga! And Rurouni Kenshin! would say a lot more but I'll stop here...

Masakazu katsura, video girl ai is the first manga i've read then arrived rumiko takahashi, Kubo Tite, Masamune Shirow and Fuyumi Soryo
CLAMP - Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Angelic Layer, etc. I simply love their style and stories! Their artwork is well detailed and I like the way they draw hair! So flowy! Kazuya Minekura - Saiyuki, Bus Gamers, Wild Adapter. One of my favorite manga is Saiyuki. Her detailing is just spectacular!

Not sure about a favorite mangaka, but I am thankful to Osamu Tezuka. And for obvious reasons.I also loved his manga Nanairo Inko and next one I'm checking out is MW.But I rarely check out more than one manga per mangaka. Example: when I'll finish Blame!, I'll check out Transparent which is a funny manga.
