This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I've read Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter Alpha, Yi Tian Tu Long Ji manhwas. One of the most well known manhwas I believe would be Feng Yun (Wind and Cloud). A movie was eventually made due to its popularity... though now the manhwa's getting boring and stupid.

I was reading I.N.V.U, and it is the only Korean manhwa that isn't irking me out. Koreans love romance stories and I'm not a big romance person. However, I.N.V.U is something I'd reconmend for people who like a little drama in their manhwa.

Korean manhwa artwork can vary a lot. Most of them look... well... very Korean. However, there are really incredible artists like Kim Hyung Tae who does incredible artwork. I doubt manhwas are becoming popular in America. At least, not in Oregon.

I thought Kill Me Kiss Me by Lee Young You was really good. I didn't know it was a manhwa until my friend brought it up. I didn't even think about the names. ^^;

I guess I never noticed all the manhwa in the store... I just saw it as manga, nothing else. But I guess I know now.

I don't think manwha is a threat to the manga market unless you really look at it from a business perspective. If you look at it, almost any product can be a threat to another product, especially when it comes to kids. Let's say a kid's got $10 bucks to spend. Truthfully, anything that the kid's thinking about spending the money on is competing for that $10.

Anyways, I feel that there are strong manwha titles that are better than manga, and vice versa. I pretty much compare things individually so no one type of manga is necessary better than another.

Manwha is Korean for comic and we know it as Korean comics. That's probably about right.

As for manwhas I like... there's only Shin Angyo Onshi.

I've never read any manhwa, anybody know any good ones?

I heard King of the Hell, or something like that, is good and also Ragnarok.

I haven't read a lot of manwha and the only ones I read are Soul to Seoul and Warcraft. I'm so glad that my dad will buy me any manwha that I want but I haven't done it to him yet.

The only manhwa I ahve is Shin Angyo Onshi, the story and the drawings are really amazing!I only read 9 volumes and I'm looking forward the 10th !
A film will be done but it doesn't seem to be intereseting because it will be like the first volumes. And the drawings are above compared those from the mnhwa :(

Model is a fantastic series by lee so-young. arcana is also published by this author. i love the style of the artwork, though it's very very androgynous. and i don't think that manhwa is a threat to manga, at least not in canada. and really i don't begrudge any artist the chance to have their work displayed anywhere. if i had the talent i'd be grateful for that chance.
