Manhwa
For me manga nor manhwa does not matter... it's the story is what makes me read it. But from my reading list, I seem to gravitate to manga more. The only manhwa that I read (and respect the art) is Island by In-Wan Youn and Kyung-Il Yang.
I've read "Soul to Seoul" (can someone who knows Korean tell me how to pronounce "seoul"? Thanks.), some of Kill Me, Kiss Me, some of Chronicles of the Cursed Sword and some of Rebirth. I don't think manwha's bad. It's a bit different from manga, but it's still pretty good. Being Korean doesn't mean if it's good or bad though. And just the same way, if something is Japanese, that doesn't mean it's ultimately good. So I don't really base my preferences on Korean vs. Japanese; I base it on story vs story. *Shrugs* And there are some really interesting Korean manwha just as there are some really interesting manga. And viceversa.
Manhwa is the best. Priest by Min-Woo Hyung is a Manhwa, everyone should read that series.
I like Princess and Ragnarok, the only manhwa I like :D
Tsuzuki, Im no good with phonetics so I'll just try to spell how I pronounce it. seoul: suh-ool. just say it really fast and it'll sort of come out right xD
