Does any sing here?Karaoke?Kill your roommates' ears?I absolutely love singing... I'm not very good at it... and it also doesn't help that most of the karaoke tracks I have are all from songs sung by gals, and my voice is a bass/low tenor >.<I think I'll post some of my stuff sometime... my voice is scary though <!--emo&^_^--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I kinda like singing karaoke. My voice is also deep but I could hit some pretty high notes as sung in some Savage Garden songs. It's straining on the vocal chords though.I like to do mostly rap and japanese karaoke songs, though oldies, eighties, and nineties will do great as well!
I sing in the car driving to and from class. it's a very boring hour ride, so i have nothing else to do. but i make sure no one can hear me first XDi have a crappy voice. i can hit most notes, my voice is just crappy.i actually have this party i hafta go to on saturday, and my friend is a singer/performer, and so are most of her friends (i don't even know any of them...and i'm the rebel of her friends XD) and for some crazy reason she thinks she's getting me to sing in her fathers recording studio.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA she's lost her MIND! XD
I sing XD i'm fairly ok =pbut i'm too shy to do karaoke, and make people hear lol =p

Well, my friends mothers fiancee (so think step-father) sets up sound systems and stuff for broadway plays and musicals and such. it hink the most recent one was little shop of horrors. so, he has all the sound equipment and a liveroom and such in their house. it's pretty cool, but i'm not a music person, so i reallyd on't know mucha bout it loli guess i should feel lucky, but i'd rather do something with art like go to a museum or somethig lol. i love to listen to music, but playing and recording and mixing is all another language to me.i think i'll convince her to let me sit and watch XD
Not to boast but I can do some Josh Groban's songs XD Won second place in a singing competition organised by my church too. I karaoke really little, only do it once in a humungous blue moon heh

Yeah, I haven't karaoked in a very long time either. I like to save my money.I can kinda hit high notes but I sacrifice my manhood for a split second for this. I ALWAYS sing along with whatever song I'm listening to. It's just something I love to do and people are annoyed with me.I know only one Frank Sinatra song and it's Love and Marriage, and I can't do it that well. My voice is low, but not that low.
I love karaoke, but I only sing when out with friends and after a few drinks <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo--> I always end up singing a duet with one of my psychotic friends and cracking up half-way through.
I didn't go to karaoke with my friends before as they always go there without me......lol cause i am busy with my orchestra thing...anyway, i do sing in my room...nobody hear me sing before except my piano teacher and the examinor......loli sing chinese songs most of the time....and get out of key or tune sometimes....loli just sing for fun...XD
Whenever I'm out with my friends out in the city, doesn't matter what time it is or under any bad circumstances, we always end up in a karaoke place. I myself like to sing Japanese songs but the majority of my friends only like English music so I just follow their lead. I'm always singing ballads and stuff and the odd crap-but-well-known song for e.g. Spice Girls stuff -____- or other songs that have the same amount of shame to it.
If the term karaoke means going out with friends to a karaoke parlour and singing into a mic, then no. I'm not fond of singing in the public and projecting my voice from a speaker where other strangers can hear me sing. But I do karaoke in my house (in front of my PC of course). I just play a song on Winamp and sing along (with the help of downloaded lyrics since it's mostly anime OPs and EDs that I sing to).To sum it up, I prefer to sing in private, out of hearing range than to sing where every Tom, Dick and Harry can hear me.

When I made the thread, I actually had the PC+Winamp in mind (as we don't have any karaoke parlors where I live, to my knowledge anyways). But I suppose it can refer to both.I like singing in private too, but singing in public gives such a rush!!! It's wonderful ^^
I sing in the shower. That's about the extent of it... I have a deep voice, and my upper registers suck, but as far as clean vocals are concerned, I'm a good match for songs sung by Greg Gaffin (Bad Religion), but I listen to metal so I prefer roar'ed vocals. I can pull off most of Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth) pretty well, clean vocals and the roars.

bye bro!
