Have anyone read or have gotten the first volume of Alchino? I love it so far expecially the characters. I was wondering if anyone even heard of it?
Alichino is pretty good. it falls into that strange shoujo, quasi-gothic, fantasy/occult genre o_O lol.I'm in love with the art style. Kouyu Shurei's lush visuals are enough for me to pick this one up. to be honest the story and narration is a little lacking, but if you want gorgeous lines and haunting characters this is a great series.

Alichino is a really good drawed, but i don;t like this manga. It's too boring, but it's pretty. I like to look at arts form this authore
Its beautifly drawn, but has a strange (but good) story! I love the style alot tho...very gothic lolita!
I read 3 volumes of it (I think that's all of it) a very long time ago and thought it looked very well-drawn but the story was lackluster.

I like the art, but the story is kind of boring. That, and I keep getting confused by who is who. Some of the characters look kind of similiar.
I read some scanlations of it a while ago, but I've been meaning to pick up Tokyopop's graphic novel. Maybe their translation makes more sense. I've heard that the manga was never actually finished, though... I hope it's not true. :(
It is true. IIRC, the 3 volumes of scanlation I read was all there was to it. I'd also like to say MangaProject always does a pretty good job so I doubt Tokyopop would have a better translation.

Oooh! I read the first volume and the plot is AWESOME!..I also love the way the author draws the characters, its very distinct and unique..In other/short words: I LOVE IT.
I agree that Alichino is really beautifully drawn. The details and the clothing styles are really spectular! But yeah, theplotline is lacking, I really only read it for the artwork XD
This manga has insanely beautiful art. The story is a little hard to understand if you don't pay attention. Too bad it was never finished. U___U

I don't know if i've seen prettier artwork in this particular style. it's worth the purchase even if the story is lacking. the visuals more than make up for the lack.
