Er, well I tried it again and it gave me this same error again:
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's Door','trismugist

btw, dunno if it's related but scanning the recent submissions all of the apostrophes ('s) in people's posts now seem to be preceeded by a backslashes (\s).

Oh, and a minor thing I updated my screenshot on the userpage thingy whatsit, but it's still showing the old thumbnail.

Hi i want to say: that i like the new version of anime-paper very much. i like the system of the new wallpaper-posting too. i hope that the site will not to become a main-stream site like minitokyo is in my eyes (sorry if it sounds hard) ..

Umm, y'know the direct page access things you've added on the topics in the forum (before you get into the topic I mean)? Well, they seem to be squiff by a page - Ie I clicked for page 4 and it sent me to page 3 (the link actually said pg3 too).

I don't know if this is an error... Perhaps a suggestions.
When you are in the forum portal and you click on the latest topic with a reply... I was thinking it should take you to the last reply and latest page. Instead of taking you to the first page and first reply.

Nice! i just want to know why you can't use PNG for avatars, though. most of mine are in PNG format. any special reason?
also, is the top panel displaying my paper bugged? seems like the value is updated when i make a post, but it's not shown until i refresh the page or go to a different one.
it should display the updated number immediately after posting, right?
that's all... and nice new design. simple and clean. :D
edit: might want to check out the double posting code again, Bantam. unless you or somebody else gave me free paper points, i suddenly got some out of nowhere. happened after i refreshed this page after posting. i'm not 100% sure though, so i'll try it again :lol
edit2: yep. here's how i did it:
1. type out a reply
2. click Submit button
3. refresh page; click yes when asked about POSTDATA or whatever
4. browse to some other page.
you'll notice that you get 2x the paper point you should have gotten. i'll bet anyone could crank up their paper points by a tonne this way. hope this was helpful ^_^

Okay you dont get any extra paper now, I'm not interested in fixing the paper panel because of the way the system outputs a page.
