I was in a strange mood while drawing this, faeries usually arent my cup of tea. just wanted to make something new for my userpage.

anyway...a few proportion/anatomy issues and I pretty much rushed all the coloring...hooray!

OMG Evol, faeries may not be your cup of tea, but they are most certainly my uuber grande cup of iced capucchino with vanilla shots and whipped cream! *dons her faerie wings*

That said an Evol faeire made me do cartwheels inside! I love the purple tint on the whole thing, the hair and the muscles on her, even if you say they were rushed, she's a faerie, she doesn't have to be correct according to human anatomy ;)

As you can tell by my rambling I am much impressed. This made my dull boring day at work sparkly and magical! *flies around in circles*

Lol. What proportion issues, Evol? ;D And yeah, like Kirjavaa said, she's a faerie. Rules don't count for her. XD You've probably heard me say this a million times, but I love the eyes! Very expressive. I must say that I love her outfit and her hair color. Evol has thing for purple? xD Sad faerie though, she's carrying her other wing in her hand. The butterfly is also a nice touch. Yup, made my day. *does a funky dance* ^_^

and even though i've told YOU how much i love it, i will say it for everyone else to read, in the highly confusing and vivid artistic lingo that i picked up from some bum on the street.
i ADORE the way you draw. the way everything is so curved. it looks naturally unnatural. my lines are so sharp and quick. yours are so nurtured and handled like a mother and child. it's incredible.
when you come up, i AM sitting over your shoulder and watching you draw. and that in itself will make me a happy lil kalico :3
but seriosuly, you have an amazing style. and even though you may not do it professionally (which i really wish you would, but you never listen to me anyways >.>) i really hope you continue to draw in your spare time.
and i expect when i get my own apartment, that you will draw me some amazing picture that i can frame and hang next to the other drawings i have from my friends :D

This is wonderful. I'm sure your are sick of hearing this but, what proportions issues are you talking about? I must be blind then because I don't see any and if they were, the fact that she's a fairy changes everything. Besides, this is anime. You know how badly the Japanese artists disfigures the woman's anatomy, lol. Just look how many of them have 2 big balloons for chest. :)

yes pink, I have a deep love/hate relationship with the color purple XD.
as for the proportions, her hand is too big, and her enormous hip makes the twisting of her body incorrect. but like you guys say, I guess we have a license to exaggerate when it comes to this type of artwork
