Hmm i have seen osmething like this done before i have an idea add a purple or a dark color close to purple in the mix like on her dress or something the cross very good looking on other wallpapers i have seen try it out !
I don'y have idea about this ~_~ but isn't good?

I dunnoe what to say, you did some uber coloring there. The only thing that kinda bewildered me is the mixture of background. you got bright sunny day with a crosss in da middle nowhere. Anyway great job.

The cross in the middle there was from a different version, I just left it there when I did a quick transfer of the background for demo purposes. The clouds are vectored and painted to match those in the scan. I just did a quick paint of the grass, so I'm not happy with that.. Also the light rays are a vector. Actually, the only filter I used was a gaussian blur to give the clouds a bit of glow.
When I get time to really sit down and work on this again, it will be much better, I promise. :)

I suggest a name change and just a personal thing is to flip it. other than that I think it is good the way it is, just hope it will be bigger.

The outline of her legs needs to be a little thicker I think, it kinda gets dissolved in the background atm.
The new background idea might work but I reckon I'd keep Asuka and the cross together.
And keep the clouds, it looks so goood!!
