Ok, so like usual, i cannot prevent myself from working on a side little project while I'm supposed to be concentrated on THE wall that i set out doing ^^; well, since the first "side wall" of this bad habit got my best rating yet (I'm so proud of my lemonade wall xP) I thought why not give this one a chance?
It was about time i walled lacus anyway, since i already walled shinn, shinn again, birdie, kira, and yzak. she is darn pretty in this scan and I knew i had to get this idea off my chest before i can concentrate on the rest of my life. so here it is. the fruit of my latest distraction--anything to improve on?

It looks plain but its alright. im not a pro myself. I honestly like your idea of the musical notes.
Maybe you could add other pictures to it.

Looks really nice...the texture is really good, but the picture...I think should be less transparent...but yeah it's really nice. Nice job...^.^

yup, like xenocide said, don't have the notes overlayed over lacus (she should be opaque).
check out some of Meth-anE's walls...i think that your wall could go for a similar grunge/textured style as his. (the grunge could still fit the style of lacus...)

I like are idea the bg and notes is great the font i love, but i think you should mkae the scan less transparent so that i cant see the ntoes through her
You knew i'd do a gs one huh, hofodomo? am i that predictable? because i was actually looking for some eureka 7 material to work with while I back of in fear of my other wall (which i don't think you saw, hofodomo) but then i flipped to this scan and thought it'd be nice to vector it and stuff, try a softer way of coloring her and all.
and i knew people would complain about transparency xP actually, lacus (or the multitude of pieces of her that i left un-merged) is opaque, it's just that i had another duplicate of the musical notes on top of her xD but i'll remove that now.
grunge xP i die at grunge. i have avoided trying it out before, when otakugaijin suggested it for my lemonade wall. why? i'm not that good at creating this kind of effect from scratch and i have ps 7...;_; i despise searching for ps7 compatible brushes and don't you think it weird with the whole "grunge" and the whole "voice of an ANGEL"? i dunno. i'll look into it ;D

Really, you should start walling too deku-fairy! ;D and am i not the lucky one to have picky friends ^^; haha...sooo...update. hope somebody answers before this gets buried somewhere deep! my latest version i basically just got rid of the texture i overlaid lacus with, tweaked her color balance, and made it look like a beam of light was falling on her. xP i'm pretty satisfied but i'm sure you guys have much more critical eyes. one thing i suck at is critiquing myself and that's why i'm so glad AP has SZ. ^^
also, i feel bad...=/ i haven't had the time to make my own notes for "Mizu no Akashi", the song that lacus sang in that dress, as I had planned, ever since i "borrowed" the notes from a texture to substitute while i make my own. xP since i looks good, i'll get to work on my own notes soon.

Its really nice...I dont see many details to be changed... but you could lower the opacity just a litle to be less dark

@deku-fairy: the lyrics you typed is from "shizukana yoru ni" or "in the quiet night" ^^; was speaking of "mizu no akashi" or "token of water", the one that she sang at the white symphony something, the place where haro took athrun to meet her and where she asked him what it was that he was fighting for. and as to what happened to "high and mighty color", well, i don't have the kind of time right now to vector water or experiment it...though i do have small time to make walls like this one ;P

Lol sometimes i feel as if you are more enthusiastic about my walls than i am ^^ and since you are so sure and you are prompting me to submit, then i will. i don't think this will be my first rejection =/ so you'll likely see it within 24 hours of this post. at least one SINGLE person will LIKE it...even if everybody else disagrees. =P
