This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Okay, my avatar is my most recent anime drawing, but it's not finished yet.
It's my original character Yota Syris for a Hunter x Hunter RPG I'm doing. Here's another version of him.

I don't have photoshop, although I did use photodeluxe on the portrait I drew to give it more contrast, and I blurred it a little to hide the pencil marks, but the original's still really good.

Thanks!

Actually i think i prefer the Original of the portrait :) i checked it out on your myspace and its really good. you can definitely draw and im curious if you came up with the Clothing designs by yourself.

If you dont already have an account you should register at Deviantart, you will get some really great feedback on your work.
also, the chick on the second pic, Nice Body!! :P

Thanks, I did come up with the designs myself, although some of them have been inspired by other designs. I don't plan on being a designer, but because I did this, I was finally able to start coloring my artwork.

And what do you mean by the original of the portrait? What I posted here is exactly what I posted on myspace.

I already have an account on Deviantart but I haven't checked it in ages, in fact I only got one because during my junior year, I had a webpage design class and my webpage had my drawings in it, but I needed to link them somewhere so I used Deviantart.

I think I'll check it again tomorrow or tonight and see if I ever got any comments on my work, I don't think I did because I had NO idea how to use Deviantart then.

Oh, and in my designs, I always use models from America's Next Top Model. Only the Nationality one is someone else (Filipina actress Kristine Hermosa) since it's a Filipino design.

Waahh~ you have really nice coloring. The 3rd girl reminds me of Miriam Yeung (a singer from Hong Kong). Your portrait of your friend is amazing~

I think for anime, your coloring with... a pencil? and other colors doesn't really suit... anime... or, I think it would look a lot better outlined with ink.

Your real life people are great though, but I think the eyes are a little too far apart. But GREAT JOB!

Thanks!

The eyes aren't too far apart. Here's the original pic of him. He's the closest person I've ever had to a little brother and this was my going away present for him.

The two mistakes I made in the portrait is that his mouth is slightly crooked and that the symbol on his shirt (supposed to be a skater if you look at it whole) is too thin.

As for my anime drawings, I can't seem to find the right color to use for the skin. Also, my avatar one, that one I shouldn't outline with ink because all the lines on that one are very fine, maybe the first one I can.

Lastly, the person I used for my Filipino design is the Filipina actress Kristine Hermosa. I used her because I did this celebrity look a like thing and she was my closest match.

I love your pencil sketch, it looks just like a BW photo.

You should work with paints, or if you do, post them up!

Thanks! People are surprised when they see my handwriting, my female twin cousin got jealous because my signature is nicer than hers.

Yeah, I looked at myspace again and actually for both I put more contrast (instant fix) but that one was before I blurred it a little to hide all the pencil marks.

Thank you! That's what a lot of people said when they first saw it.

I ONLY work with paint when I'm in an art class and I'm forced to. My painting ability sucks right now, plus I'm not a big fan of paints. The most recent one I did was of the Alps and far away it looks pretty but close up it looks like crap, lol.

That's very nice, so what are you? Some kind of excellent artist who goes around telling people that their work looks like shit?

At least tell me what's wrong with them even though I already know, or point out what sucks about them. You're just making yourself look like a bitch by saying that. I can't even accept the first thing you said as a compliment because you just went ahead and bashed me anyways.

Thanks! I was pretty annoyed when I didn't win the challenge for that desing because I spent nearly 4 hours on that one. (We have these challenges and people vote on which one's the best and mine was like 5th place).

I've considered being a designer, but only for a short period of time. I really have no intention of becoming one because there are other things that I love doing even more and that I have much more passion for. Plus I don't know how to sew and I don't really want to learn.

Your drawings are great ab-angel. I like the little boy you sketched. It looks pretty close to the picture of him, and I also like the way you didn't just draw all anime-inspired characters but realistic ones too. Kudos!

Get a life. Seriously, I've read some of your posts, and all of them say something profane and vulgar. Go get a piece of paper and pencil and draw something. Prove yourself before you judge others.
