I decided to put this post up to possibly find out how many Gundam SEED+Destiny fans there are. If you are a fan please write your favorite character and why you like Gundam SEED or Gundam SEED Destiny, and if you want you can type your favorite couple.

If I would have to choose I would choose Athrun Zala because he's intelligent, talented, and I like the way that he's not afraid to show how he feels toward someone he loves like Cagalli. I like both Gundam SEED+Destiny because it's sad, dramatic, unpredictable at some times, and touching. My favorite couple is obviously Athrun+Cagalli, you can tell by my avatar.

PS-Don't you think it's sad how Meer Campbell dies. :( I know she was annoying,(not to offend any Meer fans)but she didn't deserve that.

MWU!!!! He is funny, and ummm.... well he is the comedy man of the series and I so like him. BUT he has to marry Murrue, he HAS to marry her.

I've never seen destiny but I probly will like it. And my fave couple is Mwu and Murrue, they are so cute together. He's alive in desiny, and he must regain his memory to be with Murrrue.


From what I heard about meer, she didnn't need to die.

Funny how people say Athrun is intelligent, both in Gundam Seed and Destiny he is manipulated like som little kid who isn´t able to think for himself. I can´t call that intelligent...

I just can´t call it that.

I do agree that Athrun and Cagalli make a cute couple. But I still think Lacus & Kira looks better together, and they don´t have any mixed feelings. They really do love eachother.
Watch Destiny and you see Athrun latch out at Cagalli without no reason... I can´t call him being protective there. So they are indeed a cute couple. But I can´t agree to the way skyblue24 describes them. Sorry. Maybe in these last eps, but not before. He knew his feelings in the first eps, but not to 100%.

From the very moment, there was something between Lacus & Kira. And they´ve kept together for almost two series now =)

I like GS, if you look closer you´ll notice alot of political things. Like what they think of nuclear weapons, Iraq war and much more...

So at this point, GS and GSD are my favoruite animes.

Gundam Seed is an awsome show. Though battle was highly unbelieveable the storyline was awsome. The story was dramatic. Now GSD sucked to high heaven, that it did. Fukuda did a horrible job with that show. Every aspect of the show is controlled by toy sales. Just crap. GSD is accually on my list of worst animes ever.

Lacus & Kira and Athrun & Cagalli were equally cute couples in GS but not GSD. Lacus lost her manipulative ways in GSD, Kira became an annoying God pilot, and Athrun and Cagalli became indecisive idiots. I loved how couples were in GS . GSD really destroyed most everything that I loved about GS.

Fun part it usually takes him 45 out of 50 episodes to do so. And talent for Mobile Suit fighting is really weird in Gundam Seed and Destiny. The way Sting is defeated by some nameless Muramasa pilots is very boring.

They use the same formula. But instead of Kira wanting to defend his friends we have Shinn who is a spoiled brat... who can´t think for himself either. Athrun being Cagallis bodyguard? What the hell?
So for action scenes they are equal. For story Seed has a slightly better one. But still it goes on the same track.

Well, if you have a price on your head you usually don´t go around showing it right? Great plan by Dullindal to frighten Lacus that way.
It took her almost all series, but when she finally makes an apperance she only has to say some words for people to beleive that she is the real one. If she had decided to come out earlier she would have been the same way. So I can´t understand that argument really. She get´s less screentime this time around and usually only mutter "Kira". But still. She gets more stuff done than most other characters.

Cagalli, she beleives everyone in Orb is her friend, but as she finds out that isn´t the case it´s already to late... also being manipulated like a child. Like Athrun and Shinn...

So for showing of how easy it is to manipulate people, GSD is way much better at it than GS.

Well, in GS Klueze was a God pilot... Kira was one, Athrun was one as well... Mwu was close to being one.
Now Kira is better than before, much thanks to S-Freedom, Athrun is also way better with I-Justice, Shinn is also Godlike with Destiny, as well as Rey with Legend...
So not much has changed by my view.

GSD´s main weak point and most irritating habit is all recaps it´s had. That is a big turndown.

If I remember correctly there was a two year gap or so between the two shows. WTF happened to my favorite characters after the last war. If Lacus or Athrun had moved to take over Plant this problem of Dullindal wouldn't have gotten so huge. Cagalli is by far the worst Politician in the Gundam universe besides Relina. Kira got Fllay killed with his stupidity so he has a reason to be sitting in a chair like an old man. Mwu...he sould've died. The new rule is though that if you don't see them die in the cockpit then they live I guess.

Klueze was indeed a GOD pilot in GS as Providence was insanely powerful. Kira and Athrun weren't complete God pilots in GS as they could barely even handle three Druggies. Athrun had a Meteor and still had a hard time cutting down Calamity. It wasn't until Yzak stepped in that they could be defeated.

yea it was sad when meer die, and did you see the other episode with lacus when she had that scary face at the end of episode 47, its the first time i've seen lacus with a scary face, now things sort of getting serious, i didn't like meer, and i still don't, but it took 45 episodes for me to like meer's shizukana yoru ni fast version, and currently i'm like meers new song emotion, i still don't know why they should kill lacus, it was wrong.

Well ep 49 raw of 49 came out. I have to say that this series is running down the road to crap. The entire episode was BS and happened kind fast.

Yay for Gundam Seed Destiny XDD My fave characters are Meer and Stellar -->spoiler--------> zomg, they both die ;_;

Meer's death was sad but Stellar kinda got what she deserved.

My fav Character is Lacus!! She's always been my fav!
And of course my fav couple is Lacus & Kira...but I also like Asuran & Cagalli!

But I kinda of thought that Stellar's death was pretty sad. I mean Shinn loved her and he always tried to help her. And now all he's helping efforts went to waste. I thought it was sad becuase Shinn lost somebody else important to him.

But with Meer it wasn't really sad. I mean she was a good character...but she was so annoying!! And besides everyone hoped she would die sooner or later. I mean I kinda of wished she didn't die. Because I thought she was a good character. But then again if she did stay alive she might've gotten in the way of other characters.

I can't beleive GSD is ending at 50! I think they should add more to it!

My favorite characters in the Gundam Seed series would have to be Kira. His fighting seems cool in my opinion. The way he speaks is also interesting to me. I like the Gundam Seed series because of the fighting. The beginning on how fights start, the middle of the fights, and the endings of the fights are all cool and interesting. Also, when characters yell at other characters, it also interests me. My favorite GS couple would be Lacus and Kira.

Nice to see so some fans answering my post. :) My favorite will always be Athrun and I'm not going to change that. Im' sure of it.
