The ending I hate, is when it ends with a lot of questions unanswered and or when the main character dies.
I have to agree with most people when the main char dies thats pretty crappy, but what i hate the most is when there are too many loose ends that arn't tied up and it just kinda leaves you wondering what happened after that. Kinda like the end of eva where it has shingi there with auska and it quits out. the first time i watched it i was kinda depressed since i didnt really know what happened and why it ended that way. but after watching it a few times in eng and jap and with directors commentary i kinda formulated and answer in my head that i can live with. but having to go back and watch an show 10 times just to make sure nothing went over your head can sometimes kinda suck.
I hate the ending of Blood+ ... so many unanswered questions, lots of nice characters dead and no continuation.. that hurts x_x
Anything by GAINAX :P
I hate endings like the ones in Candidate for Goddess, my favourite charakter is dead and I don´t even get to know what will happen to Zion or the other pilots
gilead

I agree you in all things! I hate when the main character die, when it is a loose end and when it is none end. (When the series end without a end!)
Hmmm, i hate endings where the shows been dragged out to long, like dbz, they should have just ended it at the end of the cell saga. Also endings what you have to wikipedia just to find out what the hell happened (sometimes a second play through helps this though). I hate predcitable endings, just no point in watching it if i already know what will happens. I HATE the endings where the guy picks the wrong girl, ive never had my favourite been picked.
Full Metal Alchemist.
its an incomplete series.
and the movie even made it worse.
still it was a great watch.

I loathe endings which do not give you proper closure. That just frustrates the heck outta me! And endings with loose ends. GOD! *head desk* In a word, they are just annoying!
And also obvious endings. Thats just...disappointing! Make me question my thoughts, make me ponder and cringe and debate over whats gonna happen next, dont hand it over on a platter!

The ones that do not have any kind of resolution whatsoever. It's like, what have I been watching all this time?!? I have wasted [insert number of minutes here] minutes of my life watching this thing!
Open ended stories are alright if it ended pretty well. Example: Gakuen Alice. There wasn't really any resolution but at least the ending was decent and no ends were left hanging. Endings that left me frustrated are: Ouran High School Host Club and Honey & Clover. Although the last on, isn't really one of my favorites but still, a waste of time!

I would also like to add the Death Note Endings.
Manga Ending : You know who died
Movie Ending : You know who died
Anime Ending : Still the same person died
*name not inputted because maybe some of the users haven't finished Death Note yet*
I mean come on!.. in manga ~ died , in movie ~ died ... and also in anime? .. its so monotonous why did they even bother continuing the anime when they'll just make the endings similar to each other.

I hate endings when nothing is resolved and don't end anything.
