Do Ghosts Exist?
I don't know if someone already started a thread like this, but I was just wondering how many people actually believe in ghosts and spirits.
My friend was just telling me that she saw the ghost of her late grandfather last night before she went to bed. She sounded serious and described a glowing light around him or something. I've also heard other people say similar things.
So do you believe in them? Have you ever seen them?

I do believe in Spirits...and so i guess i also believe in ghosts as well
I have never seen any, but some really old historical buildings ive been to VERY, VERY STRANGE THINGS HAPPEN!
And i can feel a haunting aura coming from certain places in the building or place

There are tons of ghosts stories here in hawaii, like night marchers, where if youre on hawaiian sacred land, and youre in their path, theyll take you along with them. and things like the choking ghosts where it chokes you in the middle of the night. and then of course there are the hawaiian gods. ive heard a lot over here. never actually seen one tho unfortnetly. i would like to tho :P
Hm.. i think i believe in spirits of some sort; or that saying about when something happens in a house and it's like that house "holds" that memory and repeats that event over and over...
i have never seen a ghost or been in a place of utter-creepyness; but i have heard plenty of stories!
ex: a friend was playing a quiji ((god i forgot how to spell it >.<)) board and they thought it was pretty dumb until the window just BROKE ((as in shattered)) and the glass was on the OUTSIDE of the house ((as in if someone threw something it would've had to have been thrown from inside the room))...
so in that case, that's why i never play... b/c if you're "calling" for a spirit, god knows you could get a trickster, or a truely evil spirit ((and i have heard --noexperience-- about spirits that wouldn't leave after being "called"))

I bleieve in spirits and ghosts and just the genreal supernatural things. Of course i've nerver seen them but i do sometimes feel a werid aura...

I believe in ghost but i dont really think anyone would become a ghost after dying since i just think your brain stops unctioning. But that's against what i said first and...ummm.. er my head hurts... i guess i just believe
I totally belive in that kind of stuff. I'm really spirutal ( even though I'm 12 lol). SO ya I belive in them and stuff like that...so...YEP!
I sometimes belive in ghosts. When something strange is happening to me, i'll think that its a ghost but then i find out what really is happening. I have a wild imagination so its hard for me to tell if it's a ghost or my imagination. But, sometimes you can really feel a ghost somewere.
Of course there are. As they say, there are things out there we just cant explain...though I have never encountered one, theres just been too many sightings of them for it not to be true, unless hundreds of millions of people out there are crazy...which might be a possibilty too...hmmm
I want to say no but I'm a paranoid little bitch and get scared by the dark quickly. If I think about it a little I'll feel like someone's right next to me and I'll have to turn around to get it out of my head.

I really believe there is something out there that watches over us.
I believe that there is something like spirits and ghosts out there. I think though that we are made to be afarid of them and for the most part I don't think there is a reason to be.
I've seen some things that just can't be easily explained. I wouldn't say "Oh, that's the spirit of a person who died" or something. I just can't find a good explanation, so I keep an open mind.
Most of these sort of events can easily be explained. A lot of it happens in the mind, like an optical (or aural, or kinesthetic) illusion. A person in a certain state and in certain circumstances can "hear" sounds, "feel" a touch, and even "see" things that are wholly produced in their brain.
However, when a thermal imaging camera captures the clear image of a person standing where there is no person, and no reflection ... well, that's just odd. I can't explain it.

It's really funny how i think about these supernatural stuff.
In my head, I think that they don't exist (I sometimes justify everything with science, if it doesn't make sense scientifically, then often, i don't believe in it. xD).
But, what's weird is that sometimes, I believe in spirits and things, even if I have never seen it, because when i want something desperately, i seem to try and 'pray' to my dead grandpa.

I believe as the bible said that ghost doens't exist. The only one who always played as ghosts are the devil itself. The bible mentions that the dead person's body return to dust and the spirit return to God who create us.
