Chaotic Chaos

I like it :D but...
i think this wall would look better with the character in detail, not all blured out... i can see what you are trying to do... i really like the artistic feel you have created, but in my opinion the character should be clear and it would stand out from the background - at the moment its blends in too much

This is a very interesting wall; I like the patterns and abstractness ^^
However, I suggest that you make the character's outline stand out more. Right now, its body just blends in with the patterns and texture of the background, which doesn't look as good. Also, the things around the character have jagged edges. You need to make their outlines smoother or try to place some other objects around it.
Btw, I prefer Version One because it has more distinct lines and forms. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! Although I haven't done any progress, I 'd like to ask you some things:
What's the best way to actually create the lineart in this one? I think I should use the pen tool but is that okay?
Should I show her face or some particular parts?
Thank you once again.

The pen tool is the best tool! As for showing parts of face, that might just kill the abstractness a little; then again, it might look cool to show her lips...it's up for you to decide ^^
Definetly like the idea of this wallpaper! :3 Very chaotic ;P But everything has been placed well :3 But I agree with Gloo that you need to bring out some of the lines :) I really think that the idea of bringing out her lips is good, because I find when drawing a model, drawing their facial expression is something quite difficult ;P Whereas lips, it's pretty easy xD Good luck! ^______^b

:) that is a great improvement, love the wallpaper. ;)
I'm sorry if ever my reply was late. I saw your message on my gbook a little while back, but I'm seriously busy, preoccupied by so many other things. But since I'm in the internet and whatnot, might as well drop this a message or two.
so far, i'm liking it. at first, i did not, thinking the blurring where obvious photomanips, but now that i seen it as a whole, it looks pretty good. my only complain is the color because honestly, the festiveness that i feel off this wallpaper is shattered thanks to the almost dead coloration. pale colors are nice when you are trying to evoke innocence, or those kinds of stuff. dark colors are for heavy, grunge kind of things. this one is somehow jazzy and though i know and i think that you were trying to do some sort of old english style with the wallpaper, still, i find the colors quite dead. they are the right colors, definitely, but not the right shade. making the colors of the model stand out a bit more and making it vibrant will give it the extra edge it needs. i am also going to suggest adding blotches of pink in the background. a nice shade of pink would be nice below, while a good beigan-yellow for the top. that would make it Medditerrenean looking, giving it the spice it needs for it to look absolutely gorgeous. i have no problems with the execution nor the quality, its just the slight blandness of the work that gets to me, otherwise, if i were to use this on my own personal computer, i would have adjusted it a bit my doubling the layers and using soft line to top one over the other to do the vibrance thing i'm talking about. from there, you can easily manipulate that with dodge and blur.
also, adding a nice Victorian pattern in the background would be a nice subltle effect, to make it less watercolor washed, and instead, instant perfection.
those are my suggestions. hopefully, they had been of help. if you have any other concerns, ask away, and hopefully, be patient since i'm still somehow busy. :)

the first one is better than the second one maybe because i like bettter the colors you use al the firs one.

I think you should try to hint in the outline of her left eye. Make it look really seductive ;D Apart from that I think this wall is good to submit!
