How bout giving some 'light' effects as its background?
Not all the layers, only some parts at the left side of the character.. =)

The red whatchamacallit near her head and the text are kinda pixelated, try smoothing it out. As for the background, all I can suggest is to follow the previous post.

You should fix that soon, or your wall will seem distorted if you fix that later.

I don't think that resolution is allowed, but I'm not sure.
On some parts of the scan, you can still see some white lines, so I think you may want to fix that.
As for the background, try doing variations of light as suggested before. Or just experiment with some brushes? Just have fun with it and experiment a little. :]

Nice stock... this has a lot of potential. I would reccomend seeking out some stock imagery/brushes/patterns/combination for the void in the background. You'll need to at least fill that space before it really 'looks' like a completed, polished. wallpaper I bet that a processed photograph of, say, some architecture like a church or castle would help, though there are many possibilites with this. Be sure to credit to photograppher if you do, or use your own.
Possible background idea
scorched landscape/mecha ruin/abandoned city etc, she looks like shes in the aftermath of some battle :x

Scorched landscape or some sort of abandoned town would work well; so might a castle or something with a lot of stonework. I thought what might be cliché yet easier is some sort of high-altitude abandoned temple - work in a stone floor and some broken pillars and whatnot, then devote most of the space to a dusky sky with lots of detail like clouds, mountaintops, bird and the like.
I researched on many resolutions..I have seen a wall with this resolution so i wrote in it my resolution listings so i'm sure of it enough. :(
I'll try those suggestions thanks!
