Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

We all know anime is highly priced, so where do you buy anime? I usually purcahse series from ebay, because i can usually find some good prices there.

I usually get mine from best buy. they usually have some good deals on complete seasons. Although their selection isn't as great as it could be. If i can't find what i want at best buy i go to fry's. Good selection, but sometimes high prices.

I usually buy mine from Best Buy also. I often buy box sets from Amazon.com in the new/used section, too.

I generally look around in retailers like Eazy-DVDs and JB-Hifi for the best deals they have. Sometimes they do these big sales and they take 40 to 50% off the original price of an anime series or collectors box. I generally wait until the price drops before i make my move. I'm a patient guy so i'm in no hurry at all.

Unfortunately I buy my anime online..why because in south Africa we dont have it like you people in the states and europe.

Well in Cape town its worse to by anime although we got more viewers in our drugged city.

So im forced to buy online though but only two sites i can buy from in my country becuase i dont have credit card so i deposit the money through Bank but we import the DVD's from Zone 2,1,4 yes america and England but not sure where Zone 4 is its cool in got a trick for my DVD rom to play all heheheh i love it.

But its really expensive sometimes i recently bought Final Fantasy VII Advant Children 2 Disc Special Edition, imported from USA. Didnt pay much though for it R189 (31.5$ plus delivery) but in our country they ripp us off on everything..especially Internet My god dont even ask me.

You know what i find wierd? i live in australia and for some reason, i share your pain, even though this damn country is closer to the source and it seems just as difficult, if not more, to get a decent selection of anime. i thought the reason for this would be the conversion from NTSC to PAL (or to region 4 DVDs), but if they do it for europe, why not bring some our way?

BTW any other aussies out there, could you suggect some good anime/manga stores you get your fix, i normally try Borders book stores and sometimes EB.

They do sell anime in my country O_o; Like Animetech and Suncomic. My dad's friend owns a DVD shop so I usually get my animes there. There's also lots of other stores here that sell anime like Hong Kong Videos and Artist Gallery ^^; so those are my source for anime.

Hey there lazeboi. I'm an aussie here, well asian - aussie let just say :) i wouldn't recommend getting anime manga or DVDs from EB cause they are way too dam expensive. Compared to their games, their anime stuff never drops. I usually get my stuff from either Ezy-DVD or JB Hifi but i usually wait for their big sales to commence before i make my move. you can buy online as well from Australia leading anime distributor 'madman' but you will have to wait for the prices to drop.
What i hate about buying anime in Australia is the anime series have to remain on the shelves for like half to a year before the price starts to decrease. Its up to you if you can wait that long.
"Can you resist temptation?" lol

PS: It's great to see some people in Australia being in the animepaper community. Its rare to find any.

I buy anime all over the place, department stores, hobby stores, conventions, wherever. Usually I try to look for a good price, but sometimes I am just lazy or impatient and buy it from the frist place I see it.
