I spent a long time on this wallpaper and it got rejected. I have no idea what they want me to do to make it better so if anyone knows how I can improve it or if I should trash it please reply! Thanks.

Idea is nice in my opinion.
I think that the character comes too much "out" of the bg.
I'd propably try vectorising the bg or filtering it through some artistic filter and fixing it that way.
And I don't like those bars behind the character too much.
Oh and you should put an sig referring to your username

I guess this was rejected because the character and the bg doesn't blend that much in a way that the art of both is of course diferent. I get your idea of combining anime and a realistic bg but they don't quite connect with each other. And one more thing, the color's kinda off for me...dunno maybe it's just me..
oh, filtering the bg doesn't work sometimes though...I made one wall combining anime and a real bg(filtered) and it was rejected because of that..(that was a wall I submitted it in another site..not here...)...
But anyways, it's actually good. sharp and nice idea..though people here can be really demanding..good luck!..^^

Hmmm the side-stripes somehow look awkward, besides the fact taht scan is standin a bit to much out why not try to do somethin else with those also. and maybe try to do somethin cooler with the tekst like a road tekst stretched over the road and then less clear ore sompt. maybe add racing carrs on the road to create a windy effect to the girl ":P

Hrm, really cool concept, and the vector looks nice, but the bg just looks like a filtered stock image :/ , maybe make it look more anime-ish. But I like the city scene, it works well with the concept your trying to portray.
