I've got to go and let the cats in for the night... that's not to hard right?
WRONG!
There's june bugs out there... *shudders* Those things are disgusting and sticky and well.. dirty. I mean how clean can a bug be if it lives to procreate? That's all they do... they live, they mate like mad and then they die. What a life. O_o
Anyway... I'm just really trying to get up the guts to go out there and bring them in. *look at the window and a june bug smacks into it... shivers*
Please tell me other people fell the same way about these critters?

Bugs are attracted by light. That's why they try to enter houses. If you want to let your cats in and keep the bugs out, just switch off any visible lights in the area near the door which you want to open and let your cats in.
Once they are in, shut the door and switch on the lights again. That way, you get minimum bugs in your house.

Or you could set your cat on fire - that always works to get rid of the bugs

Blood-sucker bugs just LOVEeeeeee me. Must be something in my blood.
I've always had fleas/mosquittos/leeches in some rivers, hounding me.
During a trip in the phillipines I remember being the ONLY one getting bit (hope i didn't contract anything). I had tons of bites all over me, my uncle who slept in the same room said he ate dog food so that's why they didn't bite him. So he tried to get me to eat dog food, what a prick, lol.

I don't think I've ever seen a June bug before XD The only thing I have seen that sounds like that would be cicadas T.T And while those were around I refused to leave the house. Geez those were miserable months. Unfortunetly they were everywhere - plus they though I was tree! Yeesh, do trees move? I wasn't aware that trees would try to shake bugs off, but they apparently couldn't tell the difference.
But yes, deathyl afraid of bugs here. Even the fireflies ^^;;; Won't go near them - never had the guts to catch them That shows you what a wuss I am XD

Go from half an inch to an inch long.
Attracted to light and bright clothing and come out between 8 and 3 at night.
They fly around in a very random pattern and tend to smack into things.
When they hit you.. It feels like you were just hit by a rock because the shells are so thick.
They come out by the thousands. Every lamp post will have approx. 100-150 (not joking either) under it and flying around.
The legs of a June bug are extremely sticky so if they fly in your hair then well... they panic, buzz around and get tangled up more becuase of the sticky legs. In some cases you have to CUT them out (I can vouch for that. *shows her shoulder length hair that was down to her waist in May.*)
They're just very gross creatures.
