This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Well, i dont know if other people experience the same thing, but i almost always get this issue where people end up mixing up my name. for example, i'd introduce myself to someone new and tell them my name is Justina. a few minutes later, i get called Justine :O i mean how hard is it to differentiate "a" and "e" =.='' same issue occurs with people i meet online.

It's not a confusion; it's just that people tend to translate your name in their country language.
I've got the same problem : my name is Roberto in italian but here they say Robert without "o" because in french it's like this ...
It's just that they know but they don't want to say it the rihgt way ...

I am chinese and my real name is 张祥豪(Zhang Xiang Hao). But because of dialects and translation problem with my ancestors our family name Zhang was changed to represent our dialect and maybe some translation problem changes to "Teo" and Xiang due to translation purposes changed to "Siang" and Hao was changed to "Hoe" So my English name in my birth cert is Teo Siang Hoe. People in class always pronounce my name as Teo Siaaaing Hooe its annoying when someone pronounce your name wrongly i understand how Simply felt. So i adopted an english name Andy. 2 silibles simple huh? But i kinda feel that after i have this name i also adopted a new personallity and i sometimes i hated it when 99% of my friends now call me Andy and Xiang Hao seems to have dissapeared.

Yeah the people in my school dont like pronouncing Korean or Chinese names =P

I dont have the pronounciation of my name wrong (I did one time... and I laughed my butt off xD it was bad), but I do have my name mispelt alot. My name is Ashleigh, but of course everyone is going to spell it Ashley the first time... I remember back in elementary school every one in the school with the same name as I spelt it Ashleigh too (I am dead serious, there were 4 other people) It was cool xD

It shouldnt annoy me because its a simple mistake, but it does, especially when my teachers do it and they have their roll and my papers with my name spelt correctly (my french teacher did it all last year and my art teacher the year before, after correcting them everytime). Its really annoying to spell your name out over and over and no one still get it.

My chinese name is 健梅, in hanyu pronunciation it is 'jian4 mei2'. unfortunately, most pronounce it as 'jian4 mei3', which means bodybuilding in english, and it sounds awkward too. and yes, i'm a guy. majority of the chinese, upon first glance at the name (not me pls) take 'me' as a female. just like how it works in the animes ya, lols. i choose to use my english name instead, just to prevent any errors in my name.

i've got my gender mixed up, surname mispelled in english, but the worse error i've ever made with my chinese name was in an official document. i typed my chinese name correctly, but when i received my certificate, it was retyped by the official department, with a missing stroke. what's worse is that it was my surname which had the error. the meaning was completely altered, from liew to liao, which means sparse -_-. there's no chinese on earth with the surname 'liao', and yet to think they still made the mistake. they were sorry for the mistake, but a replacement could not be made as the text was hot printed with gold ink.

well, guess i'm just stuck with this name of mine forever, as my country has extremely strict laws governing name changes and alterations. (=

Well i dont think my name is really that hard to say, its Scarlett, but sometimes when i say it to people they always say "Charlotte, right?" And even most of my family and friends spell it wrong. They always add an "e" at the end and i have no idea why! Or they forget the "t", which is a color and i'm not a color, i'm the first girl G.I.Joe! D:
And you should see people try and say my last name, or even spell it! Its bellew and you say it "Bell-u" and everyone says "Blue", "Buh-lu" and tons of other things that i dont even know why they would think that. They start adding v's and all sorts of things.

It happens to me all the time--my name is Lia but they like insert an imaginary s and call me Lisa--I figure my mom spelled it too unique for most people to get it. It is pronounced Leah but she didnt want to pell it that way so there you go.

People usually pronounce my name right. I mean, Brittany is really common. But the spelling? I have to say they've spelled it at least 10 different ways, like, Brittney, Brittni, Brittne, and Britnae, those just being a few that I can remember. It just annoys me when they mispell it, but I guess it can't be helped.
