Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

You know, i've seen a lot of girls putting too much make-up believing it's better but it's not.
I usually prefer more discrete make up, i think that makes the girl more natural & beautiful.
Anyway, everything it's a matter of taste.
Every man has is own taste ...

Gals with make up look good but girls who don't need make up look even better. its the natural look that catches my attention. btw, make up alone won't make you beautiful... its personality, looks, first and last impressions etc... but in the end, be yourself and not anyone else.

Make up and lighting. Lighting is an art form :) Dont think for a second that any of those super models you see in magazines look like that.

Make up makes a big difference because your skin is translucent by nature. It has an upper layer that is very transparent white, and then a red subdermal layer. Most people have uneven skin, and light passes through our skin different depending on the persons skin. Make up on top of the skin takes away some of that tranlucent skin look that we all naturally have, and it helps catch light on your face in an even way, reflecting whatever color the make up is. Make up also fills in areas, which helps when light catches the tiny bumpy surface of our skin... the make up fills it in making it appear more smooth.

Tastefull is always better. Supermodel crazy makeup rarely looks good without the very intese lighting found in studio photography and film.

Make up, Cameras and light can do amazing things...

I tend to prefer someone without heavy makeup. A pretty face is a pretty face... The make up comes off at night anyways... I also dont like jewerly much.

If you cant be yourself with people that "love you"... whats the point.

Meh, this is just my opinion, some people put make up to look good (and they will look BETTER), some people put make up to look good (but dont know that they are making themselves look even worse), some people are naturally beautiful without any makeup on, and some are naturally beautiful and when they add some make up they would look even better.

My opinion, i perfer girls without makeup, as it looks more naturla and not too fake. Thats just my opinon, everyone's different.

Personally, I think make-up makes a person look older than their actual age, even if it does make one look pretty. For example, my sister-in-law looks pretty with make-up on but without her make-up, I thought she looks prettier and younger as well. If a person can look beautiful without make-up then I don't see a need to wear make-up on a regular basis, unless you're attending some formal party or it's your wedding day or something. I've seen a lot of girls wearing very heavy make-up and they just look like clowns. Make-up is supposed to bring out your beauty and should be light, not heavy. Also, if you aren't using make-up correctly, it really ruins your skin as well. If a person already looks beautiful without make-up and has nice skin, then she shouldn't wear make-up. I don't wear make-up but that's just me. I don't know how to either. Bottom line, it isn't the make-up that makes one beautiful, but it's the personality.

It sometimes depends on the person, but I think lighter makeup makes people look prettier, because when I saw my cousin over doing for her date, I thought she looked so strange and unnatural, but when my friend put alot of makeup on she looked pretty. I think it really just depends on the person.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

However, I think make up can emphasise the features when it is used properly. You must decide this according to the shape of your face and your natural features. You have to decide what are you going to emphasise first: eyes (better for big eyed chicks) or lips (most suitable for fleshy lips), you cannot have both. Once you have decided then you decide the colour.

-If you decided to go for the lips then the colour of the eyes should be pale and I'd say maximum 2 colours.
-If you decided to go for the eyes then use a lighter colour for the lips and it should go with the colour you've chosen for the eyes.

The technique is also important but that's hard to explain here. If you don't know how to wear the make up you'll look pretty silly. So rather don't use any, besides I preffer the natural look.

You also have to decide what sort of make up is the most suitable for the place you're going to. Use something discrete for the day (school/office) and be as emphatic as you want for the nightclub.

I think make-up, does make you look beautiful, but
true beauty comes from inside not what is outside,
because make-up hides your natural beauty,
and if you want to know, "I HAVE NEVER USED MAKE-UP"
not even once, till now, even if there is a party, or
festivals, i don't use make-up,

people use make-up just to attract, but i think it's crazy,
using little make-up is ok, but only sometimes.

but what i believe in is, the true beauty comes from
inside, what i mean is, looking beutiful is one thing,
but is more beautiful, is your attitude towards others,

well, thats what i think, n_n

I think make up usually detracts from someone's natural beauty. To me, make-up symbolizes two things...

First, make up to me is like a mask. The person is uncomfortable with who they are so they try to cover up who they are with make-up because they think people will like them better for it. It's like a fake show and people who can't be themselves irritate me.

Secondly, make-up symbolizes someone who cares too much about what things look like on the surface without much care for what's underneath. I'm the kind of guy that wants to know what's underneath. I think someone with confidence and a great personality are beautiful on the outside as well...their inner beauty will shine through in their eyes, smile, and the way they move and communicate and that's what I look for in a person.

Lastly, there are two types of occasions where I think make-up is appropriate: On stage (dancing, acting, etc) and when someone is dressing up for a formal event (a prom, nice dinner, etc). I think eye make-up is my biggest pet peave though because the majority of girls who wear it do terrible things to their complexion.

That's my 2-cents :P

yeah. . . . . you sure seem to know alot about people

I just love makeup, it's really sweet when you wake up with some annoying spot that you hate and want to send to hell. You just put some covering creme on it and you will forget you ever had it, and it will go away since you put the magical makeup on it ( I dont even want to think about what they put into theese products and how they test them).

Amke-up doesn't make you look beautiful.
make-up is meant to inhance your already natural beauty. for example, i'm blonde. and i have blue eyes. so when i go out, i use mascara because my eyelashes are blonde, and you don't see them. if i use brown mascara, it shows off my eyelashes without screams "whore".
also, when i go out, i tend to wear eyeliner, and sometimes eye shadow. if you apply it right, all it does is draw attention to your eyes, and make them seem more elegant. people like avril levinge that make it seem like she was punched in both eyes shouldn't wear make-up. thats not what it's for.
and what JCF said about super models is true also. some of them really are just naturally beautiful, and they just wear make-up to enhance that beauty. of cuorse you'll see them wearing extreme make-up sometimes, but thats usually an artistic move, not to make them look beautiful.

First, make up to me is like a mask. The person is uncomfortable with who they are so they try to cover up who they are with make-up because they think people will like them better for it. It's like a fake show and people who can't be themselves irritate me

and thats the biggest load of crap i've ever heard.
i wear make-up, and i'm perfectly happy with who i am. liek i said, make-up is used to show off features. to enhance them. if anything girls wear make-up because men are too shallow to see past their face, and by enhancing it, men are more drawn in. and thats a fact. some men prefer the natural look, but most don't (although they will never admit it). at the age of 13, it's because they want to be older. and thats true pretty much to the age of 18, where it becomes, again, an enhancement. not a mask. the only think you apply like a mask is conceiler, and thats to even out the tones of your skin (for the reason JCF stated) blush enhances your cheekbones, mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow enhance your eyes, and lipstick and lipliner enhance your lips. nothing is to cover up anything. and anyone who does do that is wearing make-up for the wrong reasons.

Secondly, make-up symbolizes someone who cares too much about what things look like on the surface without much care for what's underneath.

again, see above.
i met my current boyfriend here at AP, so he never knew what i looked like. and when i met him, it didn't matter anymore. he would have loved me whetheri wore make-up or not. he loved me for everything that you say is underneath. apparently you have the completely wrong idea about make-up.
then again, most men actually do.

Unless you're really bad/horrible looking, make up shouldn't be needed. If you already look beautiful without make up, why start using it? Extended usage of make up is bound to bring some type of long term problem, so unless you're really, really superficial, just screw it.

Well, i don't think make-ups succed to make you more beautiful.. why? because you must be beautiful by natural not with the help of those make-up that make your face nice but when you'll get old your face will be terrible...i saw a lot of girls that were having a lot of make-up on their face and they look somehow cute but they were looking older... it's true that sometimes i use make-ups too but not like to put all it's there only one time... that's why i think it's better to not use make-ups and to be beautiful as the way you are... ^^
