This is the story my dad told me about 2 years ago. He said he was in a band when he's young and quite talented at drums .One day, his friend asked the band to play for a vihara's show. So they accepted. A group of dancers were also invited to play in the show together with the band so the dancers came to my dad's house to practised. Man, you should see his face when the dancers came, girls all of them, and yup,my mom's one of them.Sooo my mom and dad started to knew each others.They even in the same high school!

And then a few years later~~~they married ^_^

OKok and then they got married.

Well, my mothers friend know this guy and this guy presented my father to my mother, and he started to visit her to her house and started to date and then they realized that they wanted to get married. Because of realtives they met.

They wher forced to get married 'cus of this church that they went to.. they would match up people and mad them get married even though if they didn't know eachother on liked eachother.. i think it's sick but that's the way it is.. but now they are divorced since they never liked eachother.. i hope to never be like them

My parents met in their college. ^^ They have the same college and they've started to know each other in the third semester of their college. ^^ That's all my parents told me, the rest I don't know. ^^

Your parents first meet is so nice, far from my parent's one. ^^ And your father is cool, joined a have a talent in drums. ^^ Nice story. ^^

My parents met in college and my dad would ask my mom out all the time and she'd make up an excuse everytime. But one day my dad asked her and she ran out of excuses so she had to say yes. They've been together since.

My parents, my Indonesian Mom and my Thai father, both moved to Germany to the city of HaMBURG and met at the same University. Hamburg was at the time famous for Medicine studies. My mom was a year ahead of my father, and she always had to help him through every Semester, because he was a little lazy to take notes and pay attention to the class. They came together and married in Holland, where one of my Grandma's lives. That Grandma is my mother's mother and ... the only one who is alive among my grandparents...
So, since they got the German citizenship, My older brother and I were born in Germany, and that makes us two Germans as well...

I live in Thailand now for University...

My parents story is actually pretty funny.
my mom and dad met at a bar one night, and i guess decided to go on a date to play tennis the next day. But my dad couldn't remember what my mom looked like, due to alcohol levels, the darkness of the bar and whatever, so he actually hid in the bushes and waited to make sure she wasn't hideous. every time my mom tells me that i yell at him because it's pretty mean lol. but needless to say she wasn't, so they had fun and eventually got married. Sometimes i wonder how though, because my dad is so quiet, and whenever he DOES talk he just makes fun of me and my mom (he's kidding of course). but yeah. thats how my parents met.

The way my parents met is the stuff Densha Otoko or your usual high school love story is made of. My parents met in college, and my dad would met my mom with her parents, helping out, and suddenly, both of them have an affinity for each other. I'm seeing that in a way with my frsat brother dating my sister. It's that type of relationship that has put me on this planet since August of 1984.

I wonder if I can have the time to go through all that. It would feel quite nice, if I'm down for it.

My mom and dad were also in the same high school, haha, but at that time when my dad was in high school, he is very popular with the girls. He told me he always went BBQ with those girls = =" (What a dad...) but my mom didn't went to any of this, instand she went to play basketball... strange.

I don't know why they would be together and married as their interest were far too different! You know this kinda marrage wouldn't tkae long but now they are still in love... love is strange.

I think thei met in school so many years ago

My mom was an aspiring make-up artist and hair stylist and did the make-up and hair for some low budget production movie in her late 20's. She was an American citizen but Hong Kong born. They then referred her to a Hong Kong movie production group that was filming in Canada. She traveled to Canada and met my dad who was a movie producer from Hong Kong. After about a year of filming, the group left and my mom went back to New York.

Long story short, my dad asked my mother to marry him over the phone when he was in Hong Kong and she moved there for 3 years- had me (But I was already considered a US Citizen so my mom's sister brought me back to the US while my mom was pregnant with my younger brother (14 months apart) so that her side of the family could see me- I was 8 months old.) After my brother was a few months old, the entire family moved to the US so that my lonely mother could live with her family. Now my mother promises my lonely father that they will retire closer to his relatives. My dad officially quit the movie business in HK around 1992 even though he had been in the US tying loose ends, a year after my youngest brother was born. Once in a while the company calls my dad to do them favors like buy plane tickets for actors who are visiting and such. They now owe my mom an Andy Lau autographed calendar for about a year now for doing that. XDXD She hadn't really dared to ask for autographs while on the set with my dad in fear of embarrassing him. Now that he's out of the business and realizes she regrets the lost opportunities, she has no shame. ^^;
