I would consider it a pedophillic activity, but I don't really care that people do it. As long as no real children are being affected I see no problem with it. One might say "But it will make them more likely to attack children in future". I personally would assume the opposite, they're able to hone their fantasies infront of their PC rather than in real life. And then I would think that anyone capable of molesting a child in the first place won't need 2D drawings to aid them.
Either way, I don't care. If it doesn't cause harm, leave it be.

LongbowI'd say that most lolicon you see in animes are mostly for fanservice and humor (at least based on what I've seen in my collection of animes). And by fanservice, the producers try to force you to a "Aww, that's cute", but I don't think it makes you a hardcore pedophile.
Yeah. Can't blame them for liking lolitas around especially anime however, its normal for them to like it. Odd huh? lol One time, my old friend likes anime girls especially lolitas having gothic dress or any elegant clothes which he told me although my friend starts to find manga of lolita anime. *Shrugs*
For my opinion. I just disliking nor intersted of it but I just wanted to watch anime having enjoy of myself at the television though. One time my neighboor she did watch Ouran High School Host Club seeing 'kawaii' kid but I didn't remembered his name much as I know. That is all of my opinion.

I don't think loli is the same as pedo, because loli is connected to fiction character while pedo is connected with a real human. Loli is harmless, maybe except to themselves (for a various reason, myself included), while pedo is dangerous (keep your younger sister from them XD) and that is the most fundamental difference between the two.
Would you be mad if someone ravages a fictional character in their mind (not that I like to do it or something, it just for example) that has no connection whatsoever to you? A little disgusted maybe but that is only if you know abut it and I think it has no damage to anyone (or can a fictional character be damaged?). It's a different case if someone do it to a real human ,not fiction or picture, that woud make most people feel horible, young kids have a future while fictional character doesn't even know anything. Loli is not Pedo.....

As so long as they are not affecting other people with their likes. I don't have to see why people find it so disgusting when it does not concern them. :/ But whatever makes em sleep at night.
Being a loli does make you a pedo by name but definitely not by acts. Well you can still like real life children, just not that way. But Media is a strong influencer for the masses... meh. It's all a case by case basis.

I agree with Ahcoo, the "loli" we use to speak about, is the anime loli, that girl thats small, cute, breastless and maybe (and it usually its) underage. Youre not a pedo if youre attracted by loli characters, but when this atraction becomes obsession... you have a problem, man.

Well, I personally think that real lolicon is not a pedophile, but somebody, who would die if all lolis were destroyed...
And that makes me a lolicon in my opinion, because I personally found lolis too cute to just forget about them...

Lolis are hot. Sometimes anyway. Sometimes they are drawn in a suggestive style that just screams sex, doesn't make it wrong. I've seen 12 year olds in anime drawn in a sexy style and I've thought, "thats hot" and I never felt bad about it because it doesn't correlate to real life. There is no such thing as a hot 12 year old. There's hot high school kids, but thats something else entirely. Kids aren't hot, they are kids. Anime kids are fiction, like the photoshopped models you see in magazines, its fake. I don't quite care if someone likes lolis, as long as it is just fiction based.

I don't like loli as it is exposed as ecchi or has connotations of being ecchi. Loli-ish like CardCaptor Sakura is something I like. It's cute and fun. I don't like anime where it's a show solely for exposing loli style. When I'm exposed to the term loli all the time, its usually in the context of ecchi and stuff. So I have the term "loli" as a negative connotation. I just rather not use the term loli as it makes me think of people being perverted with young little girls.
