After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Oh I definitely don't subscribe to any particular scene. It just happens to be the genre I listen to my most. One of all time favorite bands being Splashdown.

Just so long as you aren't one of those stuck up indie kids

$Loftydreamer 1 hour 19 minutes ago
I pretty much am across all genres. I have so much music I can listen to music nonstop for an entire year without hearing a repeat. Though I seem to spend more time with indie music and local bands.

I listen to a variety of genres ranging from Sara Bareilles to The Dillinger Escape Plan to Monty Are I to Baracuda

$Loftydreamer 1 hour 24 minutes ago
They really are. So are you a metal fan in general. How about other genres?

`Sakiera 1 hour 27 minutes ago
I've only heard a few Epica songs but from what I've gathered they're quite good

$Loftydreamer 1 hour 34 minutes ago
Well I was talking about music in relation to Gaga. I love symphonic metal. A couple of my favorites are Leaves' Eyes, Visions of Atlantis, Delain, Epica, and Xandria

I get addicted to this one online game that a friend introduced me to. CABAL, I think it was. When I saw me friend play it I was so totally interested. I have never played a real online game, even though I have heard of the World Of Warcraft, but I didn't bother. Now my two friends and I are really hooked on this game. It's like Warcraft, but it's totally free! P(T_T) emoticon

When I'm just starting to play a new game for the first time, yeah, I can get addicted to it for like days. Then it starts to dwindle a bit until I don't feel like playing it anymore. The only online game nowadays that I still continue to play (but for like a few days a week) is Ragnarok Online, and that's 'cuz I have friends (and my hubby) who plays; not to mention that I have a lot of expensive items and characters as well.

I'm a gamer, an otaku and a writer. And yes, games are addictive for me. As long as it has a good storyline I'll get addicted to it. The only games I don't get addicted is online games or should I say MMORPG and the like.

I guess it's because I started playing games since I was 3 but it is a real problematic addiction. Not because I drop my grades or something but because I get tired at the end of the day. Although the weird thing is my grades don't drop and I'll usually still get top 10 in the whole school, give or take. Well, I guess that's because I love to study so I don't forget to study but yeah, I get tired at the end of the day.

Another addiction is myt addiction with instrumental music. I can't stop listening and I get my parents wrath sometimes. This one doesn't give me too much of a problem since there's not much side-effect. And I listen at the lowest volume since I can't stand noisy noise.

There's other addictions but playing games is the worse. All it does is making me tired but that leads to other effect so I guess I'll need to have more restraint of myself.=( ) emoticon

I'm addicted to anime and internet! I don't think I can get over this addiction.

I was addicted to smoking but I stop it because I starting to have problems in my breathing. I was also addicted to The Sims! But my grades were suffering so I decided to stop playing it.

I'm not in the realm of addicts, I just play a whole lot. I log the same number of hours gaming now as I did when I was younger, the only difference is now it's Nintendo DS and World of Warcraft rather than Bubble Bobble and Tetris.

I used to play games when my friends started to play those games. I always tried to finish them before other people did, but it was never an addict, playing games. One of the MMORPGs that pretty much ruined my life was MapleStory, which I think sucked badly. I was just following my friends moving from Gunbound to this brand new game 'MapleStory' (It just came out that time) I didn't go to school, I sleep only 2 hours everyday, and guess what, when I thought I had to quit, I can't... All my effort trying to get my characters high and awesome items. Then something which is actually bad but it was good for me, my character got hacked, I found my character naked in game, with NO money. So I was like "Screw this, I can finally quit!". Since then, I only play easy-to-level-up games to waste time. For now I'm sticking to DOMO "Dream of Mirror Online". It's not too hard to level up, and you don't really compete with others. So many things you can do in the game beside leveling. So its pretty much an OK game for me. The only console game I play right now is NBA Live 08. Other than that, a little of well-known RPGs like Final Fantasy series.

For years, I believe that it was only an addiction if you couldn't stop yourself from doing something you were addicted to.

Recently, however, a friend brought up the fact that even if you are able to control yourself from doing something or not, there is an urge.

I have a gambling addiction under the 2nd rule. I can control it, to an extent. I can go cold turkey. Or rather, that's my best option. I just love the chance game, and whenever I start the gambling, it's hard to stop. especially if you're winning big or losing just as much. You keep thinking "I can win more" or, "I can recover from this" and most of the time, end up losing money in both instances.

So, personally, I believe that if you have an excessively high 'urge' to do something you like, more than you should have, I believe you are addicted. How you deal with that addiction on the other hand, is another story.

Even alcoholics who have been sober for xx amount of years. They can very well control themselves from drinking. But it doesn't change the fact that they enjoy the taste of alcohol and enjoy drinking as a whole. That urge will most likely always be there.

Thinking this way, I don't think there really is a way of getting rid of your addiction, unless extremely measures are implicated. Such as making yourself sick of said addiction to the point of hatred. High levels of psychological alteration may be required. Easier said than done

My two cents.

I've never been addicted to video games that much. They would excite me for a day or two, and when I finish it, it dies off. Unless of course I own the game, then I would replay it out of boredom.

But lately I've been addicted to manga more than anime. I used to be addicted to a few series in anime, but now, it's a wide spread.
