After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I actually have begun to get more into watching television lately.
I have gotten into more mature series of television. I sometimes see them online if I miss an episode or want to watch a show that is a few seasons in which has gotten me into watching television more.

(n_n)/ emoticon Hello everyone
I have to agree with most of your opinions in that television is not what it used to be. I still watch a few good shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and a few reality shows as well. I think that the age of the good actors are long gone, that's what I truly believe.

The series that are shown on my TV are not too appealing for me. Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting older and there for I cannot identify with today's youth. I don't really know what it is but I do miss good quality TV shows like the Cosby's, there I said it and Dawsons Creek and oh my I really can't remember most of the names lol.

As long as The Simpsons is on, I'm okay. That's more than good enough for me and besides not being able to watch television like I used to gives me more free time to write my opinion on this topic. It's not such a bad thing for me in the end.

Bye (n_n)~ emoticon

Yeah, TV isn't to great anymore. There are a few shows that still capture me though. Stargate Atlantis (huge SG fanboi!) Burn Notice, House, CSI... I really enjoy those particular shows. Family Guy is amazing, my DVR records every single episode that comes on until its full hahaha. I watch a lot of anime though, fansubs and what not to keep me busy.

Lol, even if naruto wasn't censored, it's still one among many stupid animes like pokemon ( my opinion ) childish plotting and lazy visuals, whatever, that aside, about tv shows, there are usually many awesome tv shows here
dr house
smallville ( am kinda getting fed up with that one )
kyle xy ( awesome serie)
and there used to be great shows like John Doe, Dead Zone, Dead time, Dark Angel, farscape, HEX, Tru calling, Medium, sorry, am a sci-fi lover, stargate, stargate atlatis, lol am sci-fi fan, sorry.
there's no way i'd watch love dovey shows, sooo boring, better watch 20 episodes of naruto than doing that, lol

I kind understand your frustration, and you're right, it's almost the same everywhere, the more time goes by, the more tv channels go the wrong way, example, used to have nice animes on a music channels, they always aired new animes every half months, now, they kept airing the whole seasons of DBZ and DB GT for ... maybe the 30th time, am not lying, it's been 5 or 6 years, since they started to do that!

I've given up on TV completely and just cherry pick the few good shows to watch on my computer. That's why streaming sites like Hulu are like a godsend for me. I don't have to put up with a myriad of other crap just to see the few gems on prime time TV.

It sure has changed, but I don't care anymore... As long as everyone is okay with it, I'm okay with it too. I don't watch much TV anymore, especially when we already have a computer and an Internet connection, who would watch TV? With the computer, I can choose what I can watch and when, unlike TV where schedules are late and the programs are not to my liking.

TV is no longer a staple for people who have found the power of the INTERNET!! i for one have already reduced my viewing time on tv (besides discovery, natural geographic, and the history channel) and focused more on watching the shows on the net. 8 years ago video sharing was not yet a common way to view shows. but now since the internet is so fast and with smart codecs which can reduce the filesize to a reasonable downloadble level, it is kinda better than viewing it on TV. and most of the time it's uncensored also :D which is a big factor too.

So true, in my country they air dubbed shows for a couple of episodes, let's say 20? and after that they just quit airing or do reruns on the damn thing. I want to call them and say "only air after all the episodes are dubbed" or something along those lines...

I don't watch tv nearly as much as I used to. There is nothing on that interests me, except for Family Guy and anime. I hardly watch that anymore either, unless I'm extremely bored.

Yep, I would have to agree with most of you guys in that television has changed and it will continue to be that way because that's life. It's evolution I guess but I don't completely agree with or like it. The family friendly shows have long gone and there are no signs of them ever coming back. People want to see the real world I guess, they want to see and enjoy watching others being as miserable as them, I think it gives them something to relate to. Especially women, no joke, the times where the women were expected to stay home and look after the kids are long gone.

There are a lot of shows that are based on reality and some of them aren't really all that bad while others are questionable. I usually watch the main stream shows like "One Tree Hill" and "Prison Break" just to name a few and I find them rather entertaining. The annoying shows for me are "Big Brother", "Survivor" and "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire" PATHETIC! Television will never be the same again but lets look at a few good things that came out of it shall we? There's always the option of collecting the DVD box set of some of our all time favorite shows.

From where I live,TV has gone downhill...D:

We have anime in the mornings,[Naruto and yeah] with this ANNOYING dubbed opening that wakes you up and makes you want to jump on the TV... T_T Gee.

Later on in the day; after school, we have shows such as Taken Out. This show
judges women and men from what they look like. You often get statements such as
'Umm...you look like the type of person whose looks get old really quickly'
....rigghtttt.

Cheap soap operas etc,and in the end I've noticed that 'Ive only watched 30 minutes of TV'....golly, thank you for the Simpsons.=..=

ALTHOUGH the kids shows have been better, stuff like ABC kids. XD

I have to agree. There are less tv shows for the youngters and ususally all they show in our country are game shows like deal or no deal. Furthermore, there are endless reality series like Pinoy Big Brother season 1, 2, teen edition, celebrity edition (you name it they have it). When I was in elementary, there was a boom in anime. Every night, I would missed studying because I would watched those anime shows on primetime. Now primetime shows are being dominated by game shows and "koreanovelas." It's such a shame...

Yup you're right. TV wasn't as good as it used to be. In the old days there are actually good anime, and tv shows (old time movies). These days it's all reality tv shows and horrible anime.

I agree that television isn't exactly what it once was. I remember going on Nickelodeon and watching awesome shows such as Keanen & Kel, Amanda Show, All That, etc... Now Nick, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel are all filled with crappy shows such as Hannah Montana, The Replacements, Chowder, El Tigre, etc...
I basically only watch TV for One Tree Hill episodes and for the anime on Adult Swim on Saturday nights.
