After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Are you guys Chinese? Chinese usually believe next life. I don't believe next life. If there is next life. The souls of dead people are repeating to back to life over and over again.I guess after a person dies, nothing would happen. If you know next life, can you know before life. I guess we would have no clews about our before lifes. If we know nothing before life or next life, that means nothing.Anyways,I am sure that we will know everythings after we dead

I will try to answer this thought provoking subject as best as I can. I do believe life goes on. Human beings are the only species on earth that are gifted with such an expanded intellect. What gives? Why do we have options and choices and creative powers, but these very things are limited in other species? Evolution, well, that is still technically a theory. I sometimes think that evolution is the same thing as looking at clouds in the sky and seeing how it can morph into different shapes that we perceive them to be, but clouds are still clouds. Evolution could very well be our wish to see a transformation of one species evolving into another, but then again, we should still be seeing different levels of evolution in all species now.

So I guess it's still just all a big wonderful mystery, and that our very drive to life means that we are meant to live, our bodies even seem to indicate that we were built to last, but for some reason we are not living up to that potential. That we grieve death differently than we grieve the failure of a marriage or the failure of a friendship is another thing. When we grieve death, there's something deep in it, some sort of mystery I think deep down inside us that's buried in truth. Maybe it's Eden interrupted. I also like the concept of parallel worlds. Just think about it, when you die, you start your life all over again, and you will live the exact same life again, and again, (exact same details). for all eternity. And that's why you sometimes experience Deja vu. Because it's already happened. This one could also be a possibility, when you die, you get reborn after a while, and if you get reborn not that long after you die, and you can remember maybe a feeling or something like that from your other life. Like some people know the exact streets and everything in a place, without them ever having been there before. And if they sometimes do get there, it's kind of ''freaky''. My father knew this one particular house inside out, he knew where every room was, and he had never been there before in his life, but when he went to visit that house, everything was just like he had said. I'm sure some of you will hassle me about this but I believe it to be true. The possibilities out there are endless!

To me your dead and that's all.

indeed.(n_n)-b emoticon
even if there is an afterlife for the 'soul'...
i won't depend on that in this life...(-_-)-o# emoticon
after all, i am me in this life, in the next life, i won't know who I'd be.

no matter how great you can be, how awesome you can be in your next life.
nothing of it has anything to do with our current life.

you've only got one life, and when you die...nothing much is left behind.
and IF you are to reborn, nothing to do with you either.

so...let's live to whatever we can in this life...watch more animes... -(n#n)- emoticon

I personally don't believe in life after death, but that's not to say I don't 'envy' those that do. Gentle smile. If I could choose one thing to believe in, perhaps it would be reincarnation. I read a lovely book about this one time and among the chapters I found the gentlest belief for those that had a baby die. It was wondered if perhaps a 'life' had died before it's time... then this same life reincarnated into the body of a precious child... and when the pre-allocated total 'time span' for this life was up, the child then died. True or not, I thought it was such a gentle try to explain the horror that parents must feel when something like this happens and they are left struggling for answers to 'why, why, why?'.

Many of my friends are religious and I appreciate the fact that they 'let me go on my merry way' trying to simply live my life without doing harm to others so I hope no one takes offense when I say that "if I'm wrong and there is a God, surely he will have a sense of humor and understand I simply did my very best".

No, i come from Vietnam, one of asian country but i do not really believe in next life, or a world after dead, but if there is then i will enjoy it too, in these endless time of life i can read manga and watch anime as much as i want, even then i can travel all around the world without paying! How a woderful life!^_^ hehe but my grandma in that world said something about starving, that can happen in that life too, so i nust think differently that you can still need money to live in that world too, and using money is not only matter of living people, but for dead people too much important, i wonder if in that world i still have to work for living day by day ?! Oh no, then i really do not want to die!huhu

Afraid Not. As desirable as an afterlife is desire doesn't make itself a reality.

To put it really bluntly.
No Afterlife? So sad, too bad. What are you going to do cry about it? One needs to live ones life to one's full potential in the only life we know we get.

The easiest and most likely (although uncomfortable) answer is: No. Since death is an end product of life, there is no life after life ends. But... after we die, the molecules and atoms of our bodies enter a very long cycle of "reincarnation" into nature. Our water (bodily fluids) that is present in our bodies at the time of our death goes back to nature by evaporating and going into the ground. Our bones take longer to fall apart into molecules and atoms. We become mostly soil and water and after our Sun dies and evaporates the whole Earth, we will become part of Space and some day in billions of years parts of our bodies may become parts of new planets or stars that will necessarily have life on them.

Planets and stars are also live organisms, so is space. Darkness and cold are life forms as well. Everything is life, but not all of this life has eyes or ears. So, yes, there is always some kind of reincarnation, a different kind of life after death. If a stone can't feel pain it does not mean it's not alive. But if you mean a mammal-alike life then it's a slight chance that some of our atoms and molecules will become part of another live organism once "we" get into their blood stream while they are being born.

It's easier to prove that something exists rather than the other way around.

For example, if I say that all of the cheetahs are extinct, none exist at all, then I have to go out all over the world and prove this. On the other hand, If I say that they aren't extinct, all I need is one cheetah to prove this.

So it's easier for me to find that one bit of proof for myself than it is not too. I'm not saying that my proof should apply to everyone else at all, to each their own.

I believe in an afterlife and I believe that I am leading a wonderful life and that I am inherently a good person with good morals. This is good enough for me.

Hooray!

Most of the people in my country believe in next life. Mainly because this is the matter which is basically connected with our religion. People do many things if someone from their family attain a unreasonable death. They don't want to make the souls angry and therefore if some dead person appears in one's dream then they consider it as a sign of unsatisfaction and lonelyness feeling by the wondering soul. But some times it is considered as a sign of happiness which would come in the future. So everything has a positive thing and a negative thing. And in my opinion 'next life' is a matter which is understand by each person differently.

I would say that is life after we leave this one.

But its hard to say what it is because there are so many ways to describe about what it might be that actually pin pointing it down to one thing is going to be difficult because everyone thinks differently. But if I was to explain what I think then I don't really think I could even try. It would be something a long the lines of perhaps I guess like a spiritual entity. But its not like the form of ghosts. It would be more like a place that doesn't reach here. Its some where completely different.

Will the heaven or hell thing is about Controling people.

Like if you don't do what I say you will go to hell. Then the group of people or person will think, "I don't what to go to hell." and do what group or person wants. It's mind control 101.

I agree Jackass1987, definitely a control tactic. I'm not going to be feared into believing what someone else thinks is right for me. I'm the only one who knows what's best for myself and I'll keep it at that, kthxbai.

First
Just think about it, when you die, you start your life all over again, and you will live the exact same life again, and again, (exact same details). for all eternity. And that's why you sometimes experience Deja vu. Because it's already happened
I can't help, i want to argue with this, suppose, i create, two objects, identical to the nearest atom, they will be both different still, why? because, they were made at different time intervals, yep, the time they were created is different, and what if two persons do them identically at the same time? then they would be different such that they were made by two different persons even if they are exact copies, they still are different, cause the energy used by the two will differ, precision differ, and so on, so how can we say that life repeats? every details? 90s didn't last, nor 80s, we don't still have cars doing lot of smokes or using wood to light up fire, people can't be living the same thing, and deja vu, might be just an aspect of the hidden capacities of the human brain, that's all, nothing related with afterlife, it might be just the memory of the body, or whatever you want, but i definitely disagree that there are things that can repeat, else what's the worth of being individuals? where was even the word born of? and when i see every people trying to look the same, following the trend, how sad, we are different it's a fact, everything is different, one more thing, possibilities are endless, same as possibilities of being wrong, being part of a bigger stuff, and so on, then why limiting ourselves to such eeerh, "human" theories? lol, okay okay, i see you coming, yes am human, but what am meaning, it's not like earth was created by magic or that evolution, as mentioned happened like "bang" am smart now, someone, something, or several things, might have played a role behind, then why limit ourselves to human conclusions as afterlife, or such? is it the far as the human creativity can go? can't it be something deeper? i mean seriously, look at us, we are always asking questions, about life and all, and coming with x and y answers, which is a proof that, 1. the answer isn't within our reach, 2. that life was made such a way that all of this will be hidden to us, i don't believe we are enough stupid to hide our own past or creation, but in no way i did mention a god or something, am just mentioning facts and logic

now about MrStrife, gosh, i admire, respect and, i can't even say how much i did love your post, it's totally clear, straight clean, exactly the plain truth as people usually refuse to admit (that point stands only to me :P) the 2nd part, about god, *thumbs up* seriously, why always living in such a way as if ... i never got that, i mean, we got knowledge and all, so why not try to live a proper life, don't need to sing around or such to "show" (as if it's a job or something to show in our life that we can be good) that we are good willed, it's suppose to be inner, from what we learn we can differentiate good from evil even if those are big terms as i usually say myself, good and evil don't exist, we create or rather definte them.

but back to the subject, there are sure things that can't be explain, but no such as afterlife, maybe something more complex, not yet within the grasp of our understanding, not something as easy as afterlife, it's easier to run, like it's always said, always easier to run and believe in easy escape routes than making it up here alone and bear what it takes to stand, what i'd like to leave for all you guys here, make the best of your life, don't measure whether you made the best of it, just feel it that you did live the best of it, and what happens after that, will happen, what has to be done now, shall be done now, that's how i think life should have been from the start ...

Well I'm religious so believing in next life is quite obvious for me.
And jackass1987, of course a part of it is about controling poeple, that's exactly the point. Can you imagine what would happen if there weren't any rules in this world? it would be a complet mess where anyone does wahtever they want and meny innocent people will suffer for no reason. Naturally there have to be rules to make sure thing won't go that way, and for the rules to be followed there has to be punishment for those who break them.
