Do you think the base nature of humans is evil/bad?
I guess I have to say no. As soon as a human is born he is pure and untainted. He will do good or bad things depending on how he grows up. If a child's parents ignore him and don't bother with him, the kid will grow up probably doing lots of bad things while not even knowing it. However, a child with a loving family who teach him the morals of the world and what's right and wrong, he'll mostly do good things.
Everyone does some bad in his life. After all, we are only human and no human is perfect and no one will ever be. It's just how the world is.

"L'homme naît avec ses vices ; il acquiert ses vertus."
"Man is born with his vices ; he acquires his virtues." -- Jules Renard --
There is some kind of wisedom in it. From my point of view i'll say that we ain't no pure when comming to life, as soon as we are becoming conscious of the world around us, we instinctively sense what is good or bad.
For sure education is part of this awakening to good and bad, but it's not the only part, as we all have our own judgement and our own perception of our world. Those two concept are part of us from the very beginning like darkness and light can't be disociated (you'r still followed by your shadow when walking face to the sunlight ^^).
But we have the ability to make choices, because we are conscious of the world around us (if not ... you should see a shrink asap!^^). And those choices we make made the difference between good and bad, it's only our call.
Well this is what i think, i've gronw up with parents who really cares about their childs, but i've done a lot's of bad things trust me, but with time, i've learned my virtues and i hope i'll keep getting better !! ^^

There isn't something such a base nature... we are neutral, this how we behave in our life depends on our surroundings, behaviour of other people and events we encounter. Off course there are some behaviour bases, which we inherit from our ancestors (parents and earlier ancestors), but they do not determine our good/evil concept. They simply influence our behaviour.. are we phlegmatic or melancholic for example. But entire good/bad concept depends only on our, human experiences which we obtain through the life :)

I think... NO.
The influences that comes from surrounding was affect human to become an evil.

Evil or Good doesnt really exist, its all made up by humans to specify something they like or something they dont, the base nature of humans is basically instinct.
Richard Dawkins has about the best view on it from an evolutionary standpoint. Humans are to some extent born good because if you are a good person, you tend to put yourself in less danger. By not putting yourself into danger and dying, you allow yourself to reproduce. Your "good" behavior mannerisms and genes get carried down generation by generation. (And that is Cassie's very diluted info on Natural Selection).
