Yes...so important to me.
life's really hard without money. really really hard.

If you were able to acquire all the necessities of life without cash, wouldn't that be OK? What do you think man did before there was any such thing as money. They hunted, gathered and bartered (traded). Money is a relatively new concept. It sets a standard for exchange. If you raised chickens you could exchange them directly for bread. The problem is you must find someone with bread who also wants chickens. With money in the picture, you can sell the chickens for dollars because you can exchange the dollars for bread without having to find someone who wants dollars. It is an accepted means of quantifying goods and labor. To a great extent, it is a convenience.
So while money isn't important, what it buys can be very important. It can literally mean the difference between life and death. And for me personally "money" plays an important role in life especially now, but Its just a part of life.

I hate how I need money in order to survive. I hate how pieces of paper and numbers delineate how far I can go in life.

Like everyone say, money round the world, we can't live withoit that.
Money is dear to me becuase i'm not that reach that I can ask everyday from my mother 100$ for buying manga and thing, so I try to save up money for myself.
and than you need money for university, and than for a house, and than for the furnishing, and than a car, and all that kinf of stuff.

I think money is really important. okay it's not as important as other things but a normal life is not possible without enough money. For a shame it is like this in the modern world and we can't change this

Well, most people say that money is everything. In my experience yes it is true.
First, with out money you cant buy your basic needs in life.
Second and sadly, money moves the world. Almost anything can be bought by money, including pleasure and sometimes even love. People might say that even without money love can be formed, but in reality, money is still needed. How can you start a family with out money to buy or rent a house, feed and cloth your family members.
Lastly with out money... How can I buy those anime stuffs that I like. WAAA! I NEED MONEY!! ANYONE WANNA BUY MY KIDNEY?? !_!

Money is everything in the whole wide world. it is our only value in life in exchange for something(s) we want. though it does not satisfy me myself that much. there is so much things we want to do, to buy, to have it, but we need money for it. money is more important to me, w/o it my life is nothing. what i'm looking for myself is the real meaning of something that money can't buy and/or money does not get involve in.

Money is very important, but it is not the most important thing in the world. The richest man in world can have it all but without family love friends a goal in life it makes no sense to have money without this things...

Like Belgian snow and Russian Leninism is to me, here in India: Squat. I only need as much of it as is required to subsist, and nothing more, nothing less.
Sorry to be blunt but Money really makes the world go round...
With the way the world is going to today where nothing is free, Money can provide us with shelter, security and nourishment so yes it is extremely important :(
