Newlywed Wife Sells Husband’s PS3 for Fun

My little brother is addicted to his play station and my older brother to his computer games but I would never think of doing anything like that even though my little brother pisses me off (sometimes). It's pretty mean especially if the person who did this was the person you trusted and loved. T__T It may seem that it's just a console and all but it's something he loves, what if it had a sentimental value to him, for example if you had a manga collection that you had been collecting and saving up for since you were a a teen/kid and your bf/gf suddenly throws them away because he/she wants all of your attention or something..what would you feel? It's also pretty stupid for a wife to do that, since they ARE newlyweds and they're supposed to work together and stuff from now on..and by doing that..well..it's like she violated a rule in marriage or something. >__< And what if the woman was into shopping, the guy didn't get angry at her for shopping and whatever so why the hell did she have to do that.. -___- The precious time he spent for all those games can never be replaced by money.. T_T
I agree with taxevasion, sell all the designer clothes/bags/shoes she has and you can get even. >:) If I was that guy I'd never be satisfied until I get revenge (though I would never marry someone like that T_T) or I'd immediately divorce that woman. T__T

I could probably forgive her, however starting the marriage off in this way ruins the heck out of what ever trust you may have built up. If the next day I heard that she was sleeping with some one else then I'd probably believe that person without thinking i need to go to my wife to ask her personally,and then I would probably divorce her.

Ok, just have to ask, how little do you have to respect the man you're married to in order to go behind his back and sell some of his more favoured possessions in a thinly veiled attempt to force his hand into choosing a hobby that you find preferable. Honestly, I get more respect than that from my mother, and she is pretty freaking condescending. All mothers are because they view you as children forever. This is below the level of respect granted a even a child, this is the behavior shown towards a dog too stupid to be let off his leash. If you ask me, other than a legally binding contract, there never was any marriage here to begin with. Just a manipulative b!tch and a dimwitted and trusting man. In his shoes, I would continue the marriage for a while just on principle that it was too early in the marriage to break it off without seeming shallow, but I can't see it lasting any great period of time.
I wonder what the woman would do if he sold all her favourite handbags, shoes or whatever she was into, just to see her "reaction". The wife is epic fail, but the guy is just as bad for marrying her, he sounds like a yes man to me.

Going behind someone's back and selling an expensive and obviously loved possessions in a marriage is not healthy. Add into that the fact that personal effects such as saved games were lost that cannot be recovered and this is not an idle whim. This woman is making a statement and underhandedly destroying what most likely represented a significant financial and personal investment. The fact that they were games has nothing to do with it- this could have been a story about a husband selling a collection of rare first edition books and it would be equally horrible.

What can be such thing happened only for fun? for me it's can be forgiven, only when that's not for fun but for some reason like making her husband realizes that he need to love her more and spend more time with her but not with games and PS3. so something like that can forgiven, if not than, even I, can't explain how angry i will be!Something like that can show up that she doesn't have any respect to her husband. i hate such kind of people.

XD thats funny! Of course i would be mad at first but it isn't that important to divorce because its only a console and maybe that money which she got helped them in a way...Well at least i would definetly played a joke on her too

A computer I understand since you work with it, you need it (for those who use it as anime server, that can be forgive too, no matter how many GB of anime you had inside). don't you think it's a bit eeerh, straight of you to judge who got issues in life? i mean, the fact that one does have other likes in life, and that one has a ps3 as passion in his life doesn't mean he got an issue in life, try to think, you spend 10 years with a girl, married, got a kid, and you learn that the last 7 years, she's been dating another guy everytime you were going to work, or had another kid behind your back, forget about the betrayal, and think a little bit, of the much resources, trust, time, you invested in that woman, and learn a thing like that after? so same here, that guy, invested his money, time, and his being, actually in that ps3, but i guess you can't understand something like that unless you actually do lose something you hold on to more than anything in life
