What's your take on killing animals?
I said that I think eating lambs is wrong because you don't need lamb meat to have meat, pigs and cows are enough.
I have no moral quarrels with killing anything that is not self conscious. For things that may be self conscious I say I would give that animal the benefit of the doubt and let it live, unless that it it's death is required for humans to live.

I think killing them is okay..as long as it's for food or self defense (but the slaughterers should also try to avoid hurting them too much if it's for food). o__o I'm not really an animal person but I sure as hell don't want to be tortured or killed for no reason. Animals are very helpful to us since they provide food, clothing and other stuff so we should treat them well. T__T And since I'm Catholic..I'm gonna say something our Christian Living teacher told us. XD It was said that man was created to be the steward of God's creations(nature/people/animals/etc.) which means we were made to take care of them..and torturing or killing them for no reason is obviously the opposite of that. XD I'm no vegetarian or animal lover but I think they've helped us enough so we should at least treat them well. >_<

What I mean is that I think it would be best to keep the headcount as low as possible. People are already used to eating pigs and cows so that's why I'd think killing other animals for food is obsolete. But you're right, it could be lambs instead of pigs. It doesn't really matter as long as you don't kill them in addition to what you already kill. I'm not sure I'm being clear enough... What I mean is that it would be best if people just killed one or two kinds of animals instead of more.

Yeah I'm not the kinda guy who's gonna try hard to convert people to vegetarianism. Some people just simply like the taste of meat, and that's perfectly fine. Hell, my wife is an omnivore and it doesn't bother me. :)
So long as we are using them for eating I don't see the problem with killing animals at all. But if it's for something other then that (unless perhaps it was to save your live or someone else's life) then no I don't believe killing animals is a good thing.

Killing of animals aye... honestly, I don't really mind... but the methods that I hear are quite atrocious and horrible... Abattoirs and other slaughterhouses should definitely tone it down a little, I was reading today that chickens had their beaks cut off to stop them attacking each other... now that's cruel /(oOo)#

There are animals worth killing and there are some who don't deserve it as well. But if you'll kill an animal, its better if you gain something from it. I like killing animals for experiments and delicacy. Especially insects, their my favorite delicacy they're crunchy. rodents, and other pests they're experiment favorites. Rats are my favorite torture ginuea pigs. the only animals that i'll save are the rare ones, tigers, whales, jaguar, anacondas, you know, the top predators.
My heart bleeds, and i dont really wanna see any (cute or close to being cute) animal suffer. But if its about cats, than the story, is very diferent, if i see some punks going round hurting A cat, ill smash their faces in, even if im 1 vs 20 arnold schwarzenegger types.

Death Is On Its Way
Well I'm not a vegetarian but if I see a cute little animal be tortured and killed just because I'm hungry then I wont eat for awhile.I have never in my life enjoyed watching an animal die for someones enjoymeant.Its like saying its okay to torture a human because somebody else was bored.I do have to say
when I was little like around 3 I use to eat bugs and other insects but now I really dont wanna harm them.Immoral is a strong word to use though,I would say maybe curel or unkind.

Here in the Philippines some people slaughter stray dogs and eat them as " pulutan". Pulutan here is somehow exotic food that people eat with beer. One time some people asked if our dog is to be given away,we should just give it to them instead. But no we're not doing it. Oh those poor dogs.
