Yeah, I wouldn't say the line between animal abuse and food is hard to see, at least in my case.

I dont think they should kill animals
maybe if other animals kill each other then its okay since that helps keep the balance
but like some people just love messing around with cats, dogs, and birds.
i really do feel bad when they talk about how they were slaughtering them :S

If you kill it, you should eat it.
Why else would you need it? Do you need the furs? Do you need anything from it other than food? No. I think it's purely wrong and inhumane to do anything to animals that is not necessary as eating, it's selfish. They wouldn't attack you if they didn't want to eat you, or you were being a threat to their life, which, we are. So, if they are being threatening to us, what do we do?
Relocate them. There is NO need to kill.

Eating animals is not bad, we are in the circle of life, and we as humans have the right to eat meat as well as other predatory animals, and I agree that there is some amount of pleasure in eating meat (especially simple cooked meat, just salt and pepper, roasted rare on fire).. but what I see that is wrong is some unethical behaviors of humans against animals like torture, cruel hunting, illegal trade, mass slaughter of wild caught, destruction of natural habitats, unethical raising and other stuff.. we gain some sort of achievement when we eat meat, it signifies our stand at the top of the food chain, but we as humans have been given a gift to decide what is right from what is wrong, so I guess we must be responsible for our actions, or else there is no separation from us amongst the other animals..

Everyone who owns a pet and care for it know how bad it is to kill an animal.
Now we are human of course, so we can eat meat and like to do so, and meat means an animal was killed.
While I think we should educate children not to eat meat of any kind and protect ecology, the harm has already been done. Some species could not be regulated if they were not hunted for meat, and mankind is guilty cause we destroyed their natural predators.
