what would happen if there was no anime in the world
What do you think would happen if there was no anime in the world would people go mad without anime to watch when theres nothing else to watch or do that day
No people would not get mad because they would not know that anime ever existed because there is no anime in the world.

Anime probably wouldn't have existed if Japan had won World War II, if it did exist it would probably be totally different from what it has become today and heavily controlled by a totalitarian government. It's kinda like one of those alternate history things. Maybe another country would've created their own form of attracted art, maybe from Europe, the Middle East, but as our history goes it was Japan.

I think it would depend if there was anime and then it got take away.
I am constantly watching anime, its really something that interests me the most. So I would go mad if there suddenly wasn't any. Although, I would spend my time watching the anime I currently have. Just to make sure that I had it.

at least, I would had been more interested in rock or design as first hobby. I hate american comics, so I wouldn't be interested in any other drawings.

I think there would be plenty of other things to do, I mean people did manage to get by without anime for the past 10k years.
I agree with Longbow. Surely there would be a replacement somewhere. Probably in some european or other asian country there would be a person drawing more simplistic, yet more aesthetic characters to give an alternative to those (including myself) who hate american comics (about the drawing style, of course), only it wouldn't be called MANGA. Then the animation comes and ANIME is created with other name. It's just too good not to exist. If you say that how it would be if ANIME doesn't exist at all, then people like us wouldn't exist at all, either. A heck lots of people with similar taste.

I wouldn't have the amazing friends I have if it didn't exsist, I'd go mad 
, and I'd feel even lonier at the empty lunch table. I always read manga from the school library too keep me from feeling lonely while I eat...of course I found out later in the school year that my friends had the same lunch I did, but still...it wouldn't be the same...

If that day ever happens, life has to go on, in nowadays economic problems and crisis we have far better things to do than worrying about our Anime problems. We gotta study hard, graduate and get a decent job which are a rarity nowadays. If we work hard and are lucky enough to obtain extra benefits we should be able to afford Anime and Mangas that we desire...
Maybe one of these days somebody create his own style and surpass the Manga and Anime Genre...

First of all no one would be here then and i think a lot of people would be depressed and gloomy since the meaning of the live the need( anime) wouldnt be exist.
Japan wouldnt be that known and all of us would mostlikely read Comics or practice sports

Well we wouldn't know about it then, but that wouldn't be fun. It's bound to be created at one point though.
but if not... :3 we probably fall in love with something else. Anime is great but it's not like our lives rotate around it. nobody would die and the world will certainly not end :3
