If there was no anime in the world then I would have a lot of free time on my hands. I probably wouldn't be as much of a geek as I am. I would probably find something else to obsess over. If it wasn't for anime though I wouldn't be on the computer so much and I would never have found my computer interest and I probably wouldn't want to become a computer technician. lol

Everyone would just obsess over something else and I think Japan would be really, really, different cause like apparently theirs alot of otaku in Japan that make the animation business so profitable in Japan.
If anime doesn't exist, probably I don't miss it.

Oh god, there would be a huge void in my life... but I think I'd probably turn to watching TV shows or playing more video games or going out to exercise.

No anime means no manga/videos games based on anime influence (starocean last hope,etc)We probably have to settled for A.chasing real-live 3D idols half of your lives ,B.become a workaholic,C.stay home watching B-rated movies/porn at your desktop all day!Sad life is assured!

LOl nah but seriously, i think my life would be drastically changed, and not nessesarily for the best.
In all honesty if there were no anime in the world then I would not have the passion for drawing that I do, nor the passion to work for Square Enix or Gainax or even bones. Yes..yes I want to make anime. Specifically I'm aiming to be a concept artist, I am currently undergoing an animation course. Anime to me is the hight and pinicle of art work. The stylised drawings, the colours, even the passion of the story. In my oppinion anime is what truley gave birth to great story telling in cartoons. without it I think animation as a whole would still be very dated.

That would be a total bummer... I am sure there would be mass suicide... I wouldn't kill myself... she doesn't let me watch anime that often anymore so I doubt she would let me kill myself...

I'd probably die of boredom.
I spent about 1/3 of a day with something related to anime. even at school, i wouldn't make much friends without it. if anime didn't exist, i'd still be a loser and loner like i was before.
also, some video games that was influenced by anime (like ragnarok) would've never been made, which only adds to people's boredom

There would probably be some other sort of artistic outlet like music or sculptures or something lol. I'm glad there is anime though, the style is incomparable to other styles like tradional comic book style. Anime has progressed, remember those really old school anime? They don't really look anything like anime today. It's pretty cool to see the progress of it all, and I would probably be addicted to other things is anime wasn't around, thank god it is! The world will end if it ever ceases to be!
