If the Anime didn´t exist from the very begining, I guess everyone wold have another interests, maybe there would be cartoons of much better quality than the actual ones. And there are a lot of good hobbies to do.
If the Anime dissapear now, there would be a lot of problems, great disturbs specially from japanese otaku´s, well... really i can´t imagine what would happen.
Maybe fans triying to create their own Anime, perhaps?

The world would continue to run? lol. We'd all just not have anime in our long lists of interests. (Well, my long list anyway)
If there wasn't any anime in the world I'm sure people would get along fine, they'd just need to find something else to do. There are lots of things to life outside of anime, like going outside, writing a letter, playing a sport, taking up music or writing, etc.
Or maybe, people would rally up and say "we can really do better for our animated visual entertainment!", and consequently invent anime anyways

I would probably just find something else to do, I mean there are so many things out there that you can possibly do/learn and maybe come to love as well. Anime is freaking awesome and is my top hobby, but it cannot rule my life.

How about manga? If there's also no manga then I'll be gaming it up and learning to play several instruments. Though otakus would probably riot and go insane.

I would be a a very bored girl. Seriously I would be so bored. I don't know if there would be a lot of stuff in existence without anime. Some of my favorite video games seem to have some kind of anime aspect to it.
