I think I stuck with this site because of the great wallpapers and I kinda like posting on the forums sometimes but people on this forum are so serious! All these posts sound like these people wrote an outline for a mini thesis and spent months meditating on their post on an anime wallpaper website, why can't people lighten up! Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

High quality scans.
For the most part, I could care less about wallpapers (as no one ever makes a wallpaper that's designed for how I group my desktop icons). That isn't to say I haven't used my papers to download a couple, but I view them as images rather than use them on my desktop.

Yeah, I'm definitely addicted to collecting wallpapers. I keep my computer automatically cycling through them every hour, and am very pleased by it. XD
I have a hard time posting on this site, though. I do like how a lot of the people on this site are serious and give good, sometimes long-winded responses to things. My own problem is that I generally don't like posting unless I feel like I'm actually adding something to the thread/discussion, which is a rare occurrence. It's hard to add to discussions that have already been going on for multiple pages, and I don't particularly like those threads where everybody just posts their own little blurb about their favorite <insert noun here> and never actually reads/responds to what other people have posted.

Mmm... The main reason I came to AnimePaper is because of the great ONE PIECE scans you got here!
Let me explain myself: I like burning my DVDs with One Piece episodes and making them a beautiful cover. For that reason I download the high resolution original covers that are posted here.

I joined for the wallpapers! Back in the day, I would change wallpapers so often! And it was hard to find anime widescreen wallpapers for my laptop, so I finally caved in and joined (I don't like joining websites, hehe). I'm glad I did!

well to be honest i joined for one reason and slowly stayed because the reason to stay just grew. i understand not everyone feels the same
i joined because it was very rare to find quality anime wallpapers on the net and AP was like a paradise. i stayed because the wallpapers are frequent and i really wanted to learn and there were a lot of helpful people here that helped me and the community here is awesome and really its because of the people here.
no one i have met is a snobby betch, and i love looking at wallpapers, getting inspirations, making m own and making new friends here.
to be honest this is the only site i am really active on and its because other people are active too and they make the site fun. to me its not just about walling or scans
there are plent of sites where you can just download scans theres list of things they have but ultimately, its fun here at AP
and i ithnk if people put a bit of effort into joining the community and making some friends, they would feel the same way.
cause i gotta tell you, the first few days/weeks here for me was boring.
i was trying to learn to wall...i sucked...got fined...i was like WTF
The wallpapers, the high-quality scans, the friendly environment and organized stuff made me stay. XD When I first came to AP, I made negative papers due to my failure to read the FAQ and the topics I made we're list-fest threads lol. I had to submit a summary of the forum rules to an admin to unban me from the forum but then the admin found out I was a twelve year old and so I was banned again (from the forum). I thought that when you're twelve years old you should be banned from AP but she only banned me from the forum and I'm thankful for that. XD I almost gave AP up but I found out that I couldn't give up the walls, scans and the interesting threads so I came back when I was old enough (13) lol and then I made some friends, joined some groups and learned a lot about other things. :D I like the forum 'cause people give you nice and interesting answers not a stupid one-liner that doesn't make any sense. XD AP is a really awesome place since it connects you to people from different places of the world.. o__o It helps you learn about them.. :D

did some posting...hardly any and just downloaded walls
got leecher limit too
then i wanted to learn to wall so i got active
one thing i did do was post enough so i had like about a 1000 papers
before i submitted any wallpapers, that way if i was rejected..which i was
i wouldn't get minus papers XD
Reason to join AP is obvious, here there are probably the best collections of high quality scans and great wallpapers :) and i just love pretty things :D
