I think I stuck with this site because of the great wallpapers and I kinda like posting on the forums sometimes but people on this forum are so serious! All these posts sound like these people wrote an outline for a mini thesis and spent months meditating on their post on an anime wallpaper website, why can't people lighten up! Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

Wallpapers and Scans are quite awesome here. That's for sure THE reason to come here. I'm quite new and cannot really speak about the community, but maybe the community is the reason to stay here... I'll see ;)
At first, it was all about the wallpapers.
later on, it all became about the scan-images.
But my reason to still be here is to look at wonderful wallpapers (and download them along as well), and motivate myself to keep making graphics. Who knows, maybe one day, I would make great wallpapers, and one of the lucky ones get highlighted (i highly doubt it, but people can dream, can't they?).
I kind of left AP for quite a few times already though...But came back.

Discovered the site while I was looking for images. Staying for the community
I was looking into creating wallpapers, but tend to be more focused on the forums and the Cardcaptor Sakura now. I also like looking at the wallpapers as there are so many talented wallpaperists (is that even a word? hehe) on here. The forums are filled with many good questions and have a hard time choosing which ones to pick, hehe.
I think the seriousness of people's posts tends to be based on what subject they are talking about though. I mean if you're discussing about life, you're going to find more serious posts as it adds more to the discussion than making a joke about it. Not sure about people preparing their posts for months though, hehe. But yeah, it could be that people here tend to ask more serious questions about life rather than less serious things so you're going to find it difficult to see people crack jokes and take a less serious tone with the subjects.

Well i really like the wallpapers here. For the scans i think it's a bit of a hassle to earn points. I mean if i find a scan that i want to dl you have use your "papers" points so that you can download that scan. So what if you run out of points? Well for me i am force to enter a discussion and type something to earn the points i needed for the scan. But the scans here are top quality i must say. For the people here...i rarely made friends here because of the time and i am too shy to have a conversation with a people or make friends. I also like the theme of animepaper. It is clean to see and animepaper is user-friendly website( geek speak). lol. Well that's about it.

It's not easy to find anime wallpapers I love.
There are so many I like here, so I joined.

I was attracted to AP because of the beautiful WPs that I have seen. I always wanted to share something with this site. Moreover, it is kinda funny to comment and be in a situation where you are being criticized to know where your weakness points so that you can improve'm in the future.

Back when i was still a little noobish to the web, I was looking up Anime wallpapers on google and happened across this site. At first I just look...cause I didn't want to join. But eventually I joined and, but at that time it was version...3? Holy poop, that was a long time ago.
