As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

No problem Aki ^^ I fine with this too. I am currently tagging monochrome scans where Virus and NosVII stopped. It should help a little ^^

I usually watch anime at home, where my family also lives. They don't seem to mind it at all though my brother sometimes watches with me. I tried to watch in public places, but I also feel weird. It feels like other people just view animes as cartoons. For me it's totally different but I "feel" like they are viewing as some grown-up watching cartoons.. so I do not watch animes in public.

I prefer watching anime alone but I don't really care if my family is in the room unless something 'inappropiate' had occured in the anime. I will be quite overly conscious if some stranger or mere acquaintance was in the room with me though.

I am 26, and I don't feel ashamed to watch anime in public. I laugh at the jokes or get to the border of my chair on action scenes, I don't care if somebody is looking at me. For me watching anime is just like going to the movies or watching TV, and there is no reason to feel uncomfortable or weird. That safety even makes other people to feel interested in what I am watching, and people soon understands that not everything that is animated is for kids.

I hate that my room computer isn't hooked up to the net. At my all black college every thing you do differnt is wierd. I was trying to watch a new anime I came across in my dorm computer lab. Of course it was all cartoon charaters! and young high school girls at that! I was watching as one had a silly hat with a skimpy skirt on and another hopping from building to building in a school girl outfit with black leggings on. 'he's watching little girl cartoons and looking at them wierd'; Is what I think I look like!It was riddiculous too! they were fighting with swords and... I am kind of no, I am embarrased now to watch some of these! Ima grown man watching little girls in high school dramas!? I'm waiting for Chris Hanson to come visit me and ask me did I have povocative thoughts about an under age high school cartoon girl named Haruhi Suyzimia?!
I'm 22 years old now and I'm starting to find every thing I watch now to be publicly un-appealing. One of my fav animes is Haibane Renmei! Charcol feather academy? Are you serious? I barley watch the shonen action ones because they are all so predictable and juvenile! You know what I'm doing now? I'm watching the news and staying up to date on CNN and MSNBC. I go to Fox NewsNetwork when I want to hear some one being delusional. I think I wan't more out of life now. I was fine in my room free to enjoy my shows with no judgement but if there is anything I want more it is not to be defined by others as that guy that watches little girls with big eyes cartoons. Thats what it was a freakin cartoon! What have I been doing with my life!? What good is this going to do me as far as getting a job in the real world!? I have another year of college!
I want a steady job a wife and kids. I don't want them to say that all my dad does is watch anime! Some one asked my little 8 year old sister what sport does her older brother play. She says the only thing he does is watch anime. I had to tell her I wrestled too...in high school!. I'm feeling as though I have better things to worry about now. I want to see the world I want to travel and learn more about other cultures. I know enough about japanese culture and attitudes ideals. What about my own culture I feel as though I have been negleting it trying to make japanese apart of my own but I can't see the value of it any more. I hate naruto I haven't seen bleach in a while. only child cartoons are popular over here and that's what i always get associated with no one knows what I'm talking about when I mention any more adult ones and they automaticly jump to hentai when i say i watch more mature ones that naruto. Ergo Proxy was the most boring crap!! I can't watch wolfs rain over and over!
Some things alowed in some of these shows are so wrong.
I'm writting a pedofile love story right now because of anime in my creative writing class! may end up not being taken seriously in the american writers community!
but i digress when my net in my room is back up I'll be able to look for more animes I like but watch them in moderation. There is so much out there so many other things to learn! I have learned enough about this forigen culture there are others out there I want them to know about me! the variety that comes with my culture! Not all black men are ignorant we aren't all gangsters or rappers. I like to be challenged cognitively!
i guess i didn't really digress now did I?
I mean some of these shows have the most riddiculous shit man! It's not even "CUTE" or funny any more.
fuckkin 'cute' shit every where gag me with a fuckin spoon dear lord!

I'll watch it in public, definitely. The strange thing is, my parents don't mind anime at all, and they'll even watch some, but I don't like watching it around them. xD I suppose it's just me. I don't really care at all what strangers or other people think about me, so I'll watch what I please wherever I want to, really. Just... my parents, for some strange reason, I don't like watching around them. Then again I don't like showing them much of anything pertaining to my hobbies. I don't trust them much. xD

I don't mind at all watching in public. No one really bothers anyway, they're just curious about what I'm watching. No matter what I'm watching, someone will be looking over my shoulder to see what I'm doing. I was in a cafe once and the hookah (google it if you dunno what it is xD) guy noticed my friend and I were watching stuff and he was like oh that's Michael Jackson.

So yeah people here are just nosy xD And lots of grown ups here actually enjoy animation, no one's really ashamed of it. My mom loves Tom & Jerry lol!

(~_~) emoticon Well for me I really don't mind watching anime in public but, I'm a little picky about what I decide to watch. For instance, I would not watch something ecchi like Queens Blade or Cosplay Complex because it contains partial nudity, exposed panties and etc. That kind of thing would be would be immediately draw too much attention to me even though its harmless. Instead I would pick more mainstream, at least to most American TV watchers, animes like Bleach or One Piece which most people do not think much of. If its not mainstream I will try watch an action oriented anime.

9(>_>) emoticon Though my experience has been limited to the few times I brought my laptop to high school with me. I have not watched anime in any other public areas.

I tried watching anime in school once, but it got too uncomfortable. My classmates kept asking me what I was watching and why I found it interesting. They think watching anime is childish and so on. So since that day I haven't watched anime in public. But I do watch anime with friends or my sister, it's much more fun than watching alone.

I don't like watching it with other people around. I always tend to laugh at things that aren't obvious, so I look like a giggling idiot when others don't also find it funny.

I watch it sometimes at school or on the train, and I get some weird looks. At school people watch other things too, so they mostly ignore it, and on the train people try to watch it over my shoulder without seeming too weird. My parents also watch over my shoulder and ask annoying questions about the characters and stuff like- "why's he doing that!"
Its so weird. And very annoying

I always watch anime alone by myself. I don't want anybody to disturb me while I'm on my daily ritual (lol).
I once tried to watch an anime (which I love so much) with one of my friend, even she's an otaku too. I quickly get bored, and turn off the DVD. Dunno why. I prefer to watch anime alone by myself.

I dont really care where i watch it. But i do watch what im watching around other people. you don't want to be seen as a pervert if your watching something like oh i unno Kamen no Maid Guy, Girls Bravo, or Hanaukyo Maid-tai. I would watch something that funny to get other people attracted and hopfully attatched to anime ^_^

I hardly do around people I know personally as they happen to be the most judgemental. Even if it's just watching Keroro on my sister's PSP, they'd be like "WTFtalkingfrogs?" and in the end, watching anime became restricted to my laptop. It's also got to do with the series I do watch...Junjou Romantica is something better watched alone it seems and shoujo series.
With funnier shows like Keroro Gunsou, Reborn! or even Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, I watch with my sisters. If something funny shows up that the other doesn't find funny, we point it out to each other.
This isn't exactly public for me but there was this one time when I streamed a Reborn! episode on the PS3 to watch on our plasma with my sisters. My dad sat down and looked like he was watching intently and near the end he was like "What the heck was going on there?"
