Well it's been bugging me for a while now. My inbox is like so full. I don't really bother to through stuff away because I might need it later on. But is 3239 emails like way to many. Am I like weird for doing this or am I just lazy?

So what does you Inbox look like? Really is it like empty, super organized, or a total mess?

To be honest, I've kept all the emails I've gotten over the past five years.
I've sadly haven't reach over 9000 emails. ):

Mine is fine. By the way, this thread will probably be closed for its list-fest nature

Mine has upwards of 1,000 emails in it on a good day. xD I'm too lazy to check it, and also a bit scared of it's undoubtedly evil contents.

Mine is insanely organised. I have folders for every category imaginable & I can't stand it if it gets messy. XD

Well, as someone who has had to abandon e-mail accounts because of spam and the amount of e-mail that it got, I can say that mine today is moderately organized.

I've learned from my past mistakes and intend on keeping my awesome accounts with awesome names. :3

I also suggest on doing a massive wipe out while quickly breezing through the titles to see if it contains anything important. If want you to keep one, think: Do I REALLY need this? Eh, its your e-mail account. I really don't care. I just talk alot. XDD

Well I still have more than 1.3k unread emails...

but the new ones I organize as much as I need...

Yeah, I tried that at first but I'm so bad at it I just gave up. I think I spent more time making folders and trying to put things in them I never really got to read my mail.

Oprah, now there's a name I don't hear much of anymore. Yeah news letters like never stop coming even when you think you've unsubscribed.


( I must clarify. I quit watching the news or reading anything but the funnies, the thursday style section, and the tech section every once in a while. I'm like the last person to know something. The only thing close to the news I watch now and then is TMZ. )

Now that's brave. I have a yahoo account that I like never read. I just use it if I think someone might send me spam. And I do get an delete a lot of it but. I totally salute you.

I handle a pretty simple system to organize my mail:
Spam -> Different email account
Newsletters etc. -> Delete after reading
School/work related mails -> Delete after each semester
Registration mails -> Move to seperate folder
Online payment receits, etc. -> Keep in inbox

Whenever I need something, I just search my inbox for the name of the sender, so no need for all kinds of seperate folders.

My inbox is full of junk mail mostly.
And I hardly ever check my mail in the first place.
So sometimes I don't check it for weeks and my inbox gets full of junk mails or alert mails from various sites i registered.

I know right. LIke junk mail totally comes from out of nowhere. How do they know where to find me? Argh I though I was safe.
