Well this is my first wall and session zero is the first stop. So i just need to know what you guys think. I got this scan from here on AP and the vector was done by gamoogah a AP member. I also put his sig on the wall because i dont want to steal his credit. I extruded the background and i used pink as my theme cuz it feels so mellow with the scan and what not lol. The wall looks pretty simple but simple always seems to be a good thing. Let me know what i should add or work on thanks>!<

Well nice bg the only problem I see is that there are a lot of white pixels, particule around the hair, kand, elbows areas. As for the bg is prety nice.
Good luck..
Good luck..
Yeah, just check the pixels around her hair and elbows and whatnot...but other than that, bg looks good, text looks good...nice job!
Yeah I don't think simple wall is a bad thing!and nice wall! ;)
I like how d'you blend your wall (try to clean the top of her head ;) ) and I love the shapes you put and the typo!anyway I don't think the background fit with these elements! It's too "deep", you see what I mean?
good luck !

The bg is just a default filter, which is pretty unoriginal and not really up to AP standards, as it's a little low effort. It also doesn't match with the style of the rest of the wall. Think more in terms of using the shapes to better create a bg - possibly look at other people's vector style walls for inspiration (though don't copy them, obviously).
As mentioned, extraction is pretty poor. For good extraction I work with high res images. I then zoom right in to about 700-800 times magnification and use the polygon lassoo tool to cut away the stuff I don't want. Then when finished if you need to you can shrink the chara, but really you should always make your walls at as high a res as possible (without killing your machine :)).
