Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Some people when they watch anime they delete it, throw it away simply kill it:]
I am collecting every series i could get and after few years I have nice collection. I can't simply uderstand people who delete anime after they watch it. It's wasting all energy they used to get this series. What do you think about that kind of behavior. if you are collecting anime write me some titles.

If i saved all the anime i watch i would have to go and buy some more harddrives every month or so, so yes i delete a anime after i finished it. Not ep by ep but when im done with all the episodes.

Mm.. personally, the only way to get rid of my anime...

would be to get a new computer.. haha.
If I had empty CDs, i would burn the episodes onto there for the future [like some of my friends do]... But, I have none so I just keep them there... even the ones that are only half finished, half dl'd and the ones i dislike. P:

Mmhmnn.. I think I might have to go series shopping next time i go overseas, it'd prolly save my poor computer.. ha ha.

I save all the anime that I download on DVD-R when I complete a series, unless the series is longer than 26 episodes. If that is the case, I place episodes on DVD-R once I reach the DVD size. This allows me to save hard drive space. Once I acquire the entire series on DVD, if it is licensed, then I throw away my fansub copies. The only time I will not get rid of my fansub copy is when the translations (subtitles) for the licensed DVDs are bad. So to answer the question, I do collect anime episodes; both fansubs and region 1 DVDs.

I definately collect it. If it's on the computer, I'll burn it and then keep it somewhere. So if I ever want to watch it again, or if someone wants to borrow it, I'll have it.

If it's on DVD, I spent the money buying it, I'd obviously keep it^-^

Well I can say that I'm a really anime fanatic! In a short word, yes I am a Otaku (freak)!
I just can't get rid of the anime that I've collected and the more I have, the more I want!
My favourite hobby lies on collecting anime, OSTs, manga and images.
I like to appreciate my shelves full of anime! It's almost what I live for.
My pc is full of these stuff and like evilrad I save all the anime that I download on DVD or CD when I complete the series.
If the anime is more than good for me, I try to purchase it, 'cause it's important to support this stuff.
At the moment I'm trying to purchase the original DVD Box of Harakanaru Toki no Naka de, but money is a problem... Oh well, guess I'll have to wait till my birthday LOL! ^_^

It depends on the anime. If I download an anime and don't like it, I'll delete it. But if I even kinda liked it I'll usually burn it. It really depends on how much free space and how many CD-rs I have.

As for anime I buy, I never, ever get rid of them. I think it's a waste of money to buy a series, watch it once, and then get rid of it.

I would love to keep all the anime I have download on my computer but I just don't have the computer space to do it. I do burn what I can but even then I don't have enough money to keep buying disc's.

So It all comes down to how much I enjoyed the anime. If I liked it enough then I burn it before I delete it, Sadly not everything I like can be burned so I have to be picky at times. If only they didn't take up so much room.

I would keep it. I have the whole series of Angelic Layer, almost all of CCS...and the entire 5th season of BSSM (Sailor Moon)...I love the series that much that I would never consider getting rid of them. I love watching them from time to time...anime inspires me. I will buy if I have to...and if I have it on my computer..then i'll delete other things so that they stay on my computer, nuff said.

As it relates to fansubs, I keep everything that I download. If I'm going to go through all that trouble of downloading, and possibly seeding something, I'm going to keep it. I burn off the files to DVDs, and then clear it off my hard drive.

But I much prefer actual DVDs than fansubs. My hard drive just isn't big enough for more than that.

I keep everything I download, I'm not an otaku/obsessive. I have a pretty good collection, but I usually burn them into DVDs or put them into my seperate hardrive that is 180 gbs, it's kind of like a library of anime shows. ^_^ I only delete something when it's a horrible episode and I can't stand watching it.
