This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Do you collect your anime series or you get rid of it when you watch it

Depends on the series. If I really like them and there is no possibility of it being released on DVD (anime market here is not that great) I keep it. If it's more a "it's an ok anime" feeling I just watch and delete.
For example I'm keeping Ouran High School, Nana and Princess Princess, but Yakitate Japan, Gakuen heaven or Karin, I watch and I delete.

I keep them onto my computer if I liked them. But now that I have a DVDR I can finally burn them onto CD's so yay! Now I'll be collecting them like that instead. I don't buy...only once in a blue moon b/c of the high price.
For example...I'm trying to buy (and collect) all of the Star Ocean Ex series as they come out...but one DVD cost me around...I think 40 (39.99 I think it was,...I remember my uncle payed a total of 80.00 for the two Star Ocean that he bought me...)

I collect it, don't you think it's wasting money if you get rid of them?

Copy them all the way! i'll never discard them cause it really feels like i wasted all my work downloading it. I like to know it's still there when i want to look bad at it. Or spread the anime love by lending out the stuff.

But i like to watch the whole series before burning it, since.. some of them were a wrong choice to download. I like to deem it "burn-worthy" before i copy them... just like that sad unfortunate time i wasted discs on excel saga. argh!

As for me, regardless of the anime series being good or bad, i keep all my anime and eternally preserve them. though i lost most of those other titles that i have since i have been lending them to my friends. but now, if my friends borrow them from me, i tell them to give me DVD-Rs and go to my house to have them burn from my PC. talk about piracy minus the act of selling.

but yes, i definitely want to keep my collection and all anime DVDs that i watch in the future.

Well, I have to delete my animes after watching. I think most websites request that you do this anyhow. Plus even if i tried to keep them.. there isnt any space on my hard drive, and I am not willing to waste loads of cash on burning them to CD or dvds... so I pretty much just watch and enjoy them and then delete them. Keeps the computer runnning well too.

Plus, there is also the fact that cds and dvds dont keep information permanently...

I've been colleting for years so like I got like over 100 titles. man come to think of it I have to buy another cd case : ) and more blank cd's. all the anime I collected are all my favs so I couldnt part with them.

Here's a few toons I like that I collected:

Maho Romatic, Read or die Tv and Ova, Madlax, Noir, azumanga diaho, Grenadier the smiling shenshi, Shana. And the list could go on : )

Once i've finished watching an anime series, i burn it onto a dvd and store it away, even if i didn't like it. someone might and i can always have it there for them to borrow. and the ones i love, i'll rewatch them =] Deleting it is such a waste i reckon where a dvd blank is like what, 50 cents so its worth burning.
