I'm glad to be able to watch this awesome anime again!

I'm getting shaky about visiting this thread... you guys are dancing around stuff I haven't seen. D:
I like Yoko and Kamina, but Simon has his moments too. Yoko's the top though. ^^
I go through Black.Order to get mine, but since you've found one, there's no point in posting my link here. They're only up to episode 10 due to the licensing (they're encountering problems getting their raw episodes, since it's now been licensed), so I'm kinda behind.
I think I'm gonna let this thread be now. Don't wanna tread in any unknown, spoiled waters.

Don't like GL that much. Still prefer Gaiking and other older mecha shows over it. But it will make a decent distraction to kill time.
I usually like hq so i go for anon-SS subs, Nyoron stopped, so i guess i'm stuck with anon.

I love the story and the Mecha fights! It's one of the animes that have cool action and make me laugh all the time^^
Also Gurren Lagann has it's own cool and unique style, that makes it so awesome!

I must say that in the beggining when I just saw only a few images and got to know a little bit of story I didn't like it. After watching a few episodes it grow on me but what made like it much was episode eight. After that episode I couldn't stop watching it and wait for it each weak. Can't wait to see how will it end. Also the mech figths are just great and exciting making it even better anime for me.

Ahh it's so sad that Gurren was licensed by ADV...could've been worse though. if Funimation got it, we'd be looking at it through Cartoon Network covered glasses. All we have to see is endless, and I mean ENDLESS ads for it...

At the moment (episode 15) my favorite character has to be Simon. I liked Kamina much more in the beginning though. I've never really liked Yoko that much but I can't really determine why.
I tried waiting for the Black-Order subs but I couldn't resist episode 14 and 15 any longer, so I've watched the anon and SS-anon subs (what's the difference between those two anyway?). I like B-O's releases more though.
Btw: Episode 15=EPIC, other animes should learn from this. This is how you're supposed to end a story arc. This show is definitely the best anime of the spring season for me (Claymore takes the second place).

Damn, i love Gurren-Lagann. It's like the best i've seen in quite a while. It's fresh, it's original, and the animation looks superb. Also my favourite characters are...all of them! Its like a hamburger with the ketchup, tomatoes, lettuce, the meat, cheese, the bread...they complete each other lol. However, i believe that simon is better then Kamina. Sure Kamina was manly, but overall i think Simon's development took him to the top. From wuss to almighty, Simon does it all.
On a side note, Where did you find your avatar Erik26? I really like it and i want to add it to my collection of Gurren-lagann pictures. Aslo does anyone have a plain picture of either Simon's drill key or Kamina's glasses? Like from beginning of the first version of the first op? I really want that picture, so if any one has it could they post it up? Please and Thank you!! =)
