This is by far my favorite mecha anime. The only other two mecha anime I liked were Code Geass and Full Metal Panic.

This anime is really simple. The music is really nice. It's fun to watch. The main female role is smoking hot. Need I say more? xD

I get the subs from Black Order Fansubs, but after the series got licensed they kinda stop ( and I don't know how to use IRC xD). So yea I'm kind of desperate

They're stilling doing it. They won't stop until they actually receive a letter from ADV. Black-order is just a little behind. Go to bakaupdates and check who's also fansubbing the series.

This anime is too great. It has everything I want in a mech anime, AAANNDD it looks so cleeeaaan!

What episode are they up to now? The first season in Japan ends in Sep. 2007, yay?

There on episode 16 now, which was a recap of epi 1-15. The preview shows the new arc, episode 17+ starting off 7 (or some other #) years in the future.

Wow... Evil Nia? Didn't see that one coming. Viral is becoming interesting (and more baddass by the second) though, I wonder why he was protecting the humans that wanted to live underground. I don't really like the new mechs that Gimmy and Darry are pilotting (Grapels right?). I hope the Ganmens from the from the previous arc will return.

Dark Nia really did suprise me, and that new mech that attacked Kamina City opened up a lot more questions. Yeah, the Graples are kinda lame, just Gurren-Lagann mass produced models. Im sure the other Ganmens will return, seeing how they are there flying into space during the OP sequence.

But more importantly... WHERE THE @#!$ did YOKO go!?!? T__T Yoko...come back please!!

Wtf... Gurren Lagann isn't the anime section here on AP. I want to vote that I absolutely love this series. Does anybody know who I have to talk to/ where I have to post to get it in there?

"Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" is the official name, and you can find that here on the AP anime list in the "T" section. Heheh, I thought the same too till I looked down there.

And for the "Claimed" stamp, its for the Frenzy Fanboys Group here at AP. You pick a girl (who hopefully isn't claimed) and you can claim her as your own at AP.

You need to join the group, and then PM one of the admins your name, claim girl/series. And ask them for the claim stamp, and they should send it to you. You can check the "Claimed list" post at the group page to see if your girl is already taken. Nia's not claimed yet (i dont think...), so you're lucky!^o^

The first thing I thought was, "Where's Yoko? D:" I miss her sooo~ much already. Then she complained about the politics and I just laughed. xD;

She brightens up any scene she's in. D: She'd better come back soon.

On another note, does anyone have any opinion on the direction Rossiu's character is going in? To me, it looks like he's going to get corrupted eventually. Is he power hungry? Or something close to it? Maybe the politics are getting to him? Anyone else think the same?

Not really anything else to discuss at this point, since the series before the new arc kinda concluded itself... it pretty much closed the door.
