After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I sort of agree with rabbitking. I lik popcorn as much as the next guy, but I hate the kind that's over-buttered.

I kind of agree with Rabbitking, I don't popcorn. But rabbitking, that sounds kind of harsh.

I hate the smell of popcorn because it's associated with fat slobs shoveling handfulls of popcorn into their mouths

Tbh, I totally disliked the ending. I mean, the story was going great till Simon left. All the stuff after the credits was totally unnecessary. Seeing how Simon had aged and how the others were going wasn't needed at all. It makes you feel like Simon is no longer the hero who saved the world =/
It would have been perfect if they ended with the ending.

Btw, it's been the best anime I've watched this year.

I really liked the ending fight as well. But the actual ending, I have mixed feelings about it. Some things fit and others dont. I was hopping they would leave it open for another season, by replaying the opening scene of the 1st episode of Simon on the bridge. I was really looking forward to seeing that scene connect to a fight scene in the later episode, and then finally I thought they would end the series on it, but no.

One thing that I really hated was how they killed off all the original Gurren Brigade, especially Kittan. It just felt that they killed off too many of the characters, just for fun. The only death I see as necessary is Kamina, the rest are just going overboard IMHO. I really didnt like seeing Nia die either.

And Simon as a wanderer, well I guess since it ended the way it did, that kinda fits him. But personally I would rather have seen him stay the leader of Gurren Brigade. Again I think they should have left off with the opening scene from episode 1. I may be stuck on that scene, but I think it sets the pace of the series and really accentuates what the series is all about.

It is definitely acceptable though i'm pretty sure that they could improve it and make it better. they did offer better transition form generation to generation and kept some iconic characters to do the role.

the Simon gone astray was like, well, fits him well. i guess, there's nothing left for that. instead of him continuing the job, i guess he can pretty much let it go to the next gen. anyway, maintained to be the most powerful warrior at that time till the end so no problem.

I very much disliked the ending. I see no reason to kill of NIa and have Simon living the rest of his days by himself. In previous episodes all the deaths served a purpose. Either to save their friends or for character development. Nia's death did neither. Still a great anime though and is already one of my favs of all time.

Semi Happy end -*-
due to the story I think
positive+ Simon make every life live freely
negative- They just cause another trouble Spiral Nemesis for their selfishness
I was shocked that a man in ep1 is Buuta =_="
anyway Gainax is the specialist of complicate ending(like Eva)

TOTALLY DISLIKE I Mean, this anime's good enough to make you goes lol-in the firs until fifth eps, make you harbour a mixed feelings of guilt and anger (in case of simon, kamina's death) or make your jaw dropped when seeing gainax's trademark utimately insane battles...such as, the moon is an artificial one, and on top of that, a giant spaceship?

I began to realize why Genome discards Nia in the first place, as well as his offsprings,
but the one with the whole fault is not simon, who did't want to use the Spiral Power (in this case, probably Cloning) to revive all their comrades, but i'd blame Gainax for the endings they had made. Nothing, since the Eva's ending seems normal and happy enough ending to me. For example, Gunbuster2, Fooly Cooly (FLCL) and another anime had this kind of ending, too...(n_n)-b emoticon

I also have mixed feelings about the ending of this series. I didn't like how Simon became some wanderer. I didn't really like Nia all that much to begin with, but I thought the way she died was great and fitting of the series. I didn't like most of the episodes after the time skip, but the last 2 episodes were amazing. What I also hated about the series was that Yoko's role seemed to keep on diminishing as the series kept on moving along. I thought she was a great character, but she was eventually put into the back seat. In my opinion, this was the 2nd best series of that season.

AWESOME. One of the best ever. It's not too cheesy, it's not too romantic. The way Simon got married to Nia before Nia disappears. The way Simon became a wanderer and buried Nia beside Kamina. Ah, it's too overwhelming. I just finished the series.. 5 minutes ago.

IN OTHER WORDS, I'd give it 10 thumbs up... If I'd ever evolve to have 10.
Not just for the ending. For the series as a whole. Bravo.

The story is awesome (especially after Mr. K died, "with a kiss").

The ending is very Gainax, but I didn't expect Nia to die down in Earth. It's not dramatic enough. But the ending is really awesome. Dramatic level, for sure. Simon's decision to step down is a good story, but he should've stayed in a farmland (or sort) far, far away rather than being a wanderer (much like Yomiko)..

I gotta give thumbs up, for the series and the anime.. A mech with a size of a galaxy? Even Gunbuster will look minuscule in front of it..

9.5 / 10..

I dunno ..its like Kamina is the main char there ..why kill him? o.0

but everything before the ending rocked
because it was always funny ...

but again the ending totally killed it for me!

I have very mixed feelings... Gurren-Lagann is an awesome anime, that's a fact. But when I was watching first episodes, I didn't expect planet-throwing in the last one D: I mean, I knew it won't be a standard mecha story, but... planets and galaxies should be left alone XD

As for Simon the wanderer, Rossiu the president etc - I loved that part. If Nia lived, had kids with Simon and grew old, the ending would have been extremely cheesy and boring and the fact that I ship Simon and Viral has nothing to do with this opinion. Instead of that, we got something different and sort of unexpected, which is good, isn't it? :D

But how could they dress Viral in some... PJs with stars D:

I just finished the series a while ago
I have to say that it's not a great ending
But it is a realistic one
How Nia disappear just when they share their first kiss
Was an amazing scene
I love the final battle
They use a really unique way of defeating the Anti Spiral
Tengen Toppa > Chouginga > Arc > Gurren-Lagann > Lagann > Lagann Impact
Who would've thought of that >:D emoticon
I'm really amazed how humble can Simon be
I guess governing doesn't really fit him
I just thought it would be great that Viral tell kids the story about Simon

I'm giving it
