As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Aah..the movie. I'm kinda waiting for it really badly, but then I'm not. Gurren lagann was a really great anime, I loved it and will forever do! So I'm wondering if the movie can really offer anything new and mind blowing!
I will keep my hopes up, but not too high, don't wanna get disapointed..I hope kamina would be there p(T_T)q emoticon

Although I dread that the movie won't be anything special, I can't help but feel pretty excited about it. TTGL was my favorite anime of 2007, so I really hope this movie is worthwhile to watch.

I'm completely skeptical when it comes to movies based on tv series. They really tend to be a very bad recap of the series story, and most of the times it is completely frustrating for those who have watched the whole tv series. Let's hope I'm wrong. ^^

Dunno, FMA's Conqueror of Shambala wasn't bad at all, it really gave the anime and ending. So it maybe the same thing with this one?? Who knows, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Is the movie new? or is it like the gundam seed movies where they basically just summed up everything that happened in the series in a way shorter amount of time and added a few seconds of extra shots here and there?

I liked about Gurren Lagan will become the Movie.
However, I wish they add some "Missing Episode Event" because I heard it was 52 episodes but they reduced it into 24. I wish Gainax reconsider to put some of them.

Hahahhahhahahaha. This anime was sooo funny in the begining. I wish the second half of it was as funny. It got too serious.

I just hope it will not finish like the movie of Shakugan no shana, the half of the movie was the 3 first episode of the season 1 (45 min :( )

Meh. It's just the series split into two and cut down to make a movie. I'm not looking forward to it but that being said, I'm stupid enough to buy it anyway because I can't resist Kamina-related goods. v_v
