As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Hey now... this is pretty cool! its like one of those old films yet has a nice contrast to the character's figure! O_O its really cool... how did you get this kind of effect?

Well...Actually I draw it on pencil.After i scanned the sketch, i changed the gamma,brightness and contrast and then used the negative effect...
