I tried to vector a scan but im not sure what vectoring is please help and tell me if you like it

It's Vector if it's better than the original scan. Could you post a link to the scan you made it with to compare?

Doesn't look like its done with pen tool, looks more like you went over the lines with a 100 opacity 100 hardness brush.
Vectors are usually done with the pen tool in photoshop, and they're called paths in photoshop if i'm not mistakened o.o
