Star Ocean 4 : The Last Hope
One of my Favoriete Games wich will released next year in spring.
Im sure this will be a great and im sure those who played already Star Ocean 3 they wont be dissepointed.

They would be disappointed when they find out that it's for the Xbox 360.

Yeah its bad that its just for Xbox360 but there arent many good Rollplay Games anymore so i would buy a Xbox360 if i had to just for playing great games
It is kind of a bummer that it's not multi platform but i cant very well wish it was a PS3 release because i don't have one.
I'm really looking forward to this game, it looks awesome and if it's as great as it's predecessors i'll be hooked and playing it for hours on end.

It seems that most RPG's are going over to the 360 because of how much easier it is to build for. At least I'd assume that's why.
To be honest, Star Ocean has to do a lot to redeem itself after the mess that was 'Till the End of Time'. I did not care for that game in the least and from the early trailer I saw of Last Hope, the artwork was far too Kingdom Hearts-ish. Still, as an avid fan of the first two games I will most likely give it a whirl anyways. Man, I really hope that they changed things from the third game.

I had to agree with Cyanide about the art when he first showed it to me, but now it's kinda grown on me, and it does look and feel like the style of star ocean. From the glimpses of combat it looks great and all I can hope for is it's not like that mess that SO3 was...I will finish that game someday! When I give a damn, or forced to play it in hell.
There is hope that SO 4 will be available for the ps3.

I really hope this comes out to PS3, I don't wanna spend another 300 on another system for only one game
My cousin with the 360 seems to hate RPGs, so I'm going to have to get the game myself and borrow his console again...<_< Personally, all I have is a wii, so I don't really mind SO4 for 360, but I guess it'd make more sense for it to be on PS3, since its predecessors were for the PS2 and etc...
The game looks really cool though, I can't wait to get my hands on it. ._.

Okay, just to clarify here as everyone is jumping to conclusions. Star Ocean 4 is not a 360 exclusive. As of yet, it has only been confirmed for the 360 but the team has stated there is a PS3 version in the works too, most likely to come out afterwards due to development time.
The main reason the 360 has more RPGs as of yet is due to the PS3's cell and the difficulty in working with it at first. As soon as developers get more adjusted to the workings of the cell then they'll start releasing PS3 RPGs regularly.

All those saying this is Xbox 360 only shouldn't stay to that statement so much. Square has been very hesitant to say that it is ONLY Xbox 360. The game may only be a timed exclusive similar to Trusty Bell and Bishock. The Star Ocean Series is a somewhat high profile series so it would be foolish to only release it on the Xbox.
In fact it took Square awhile to announce the platform it was going to be for after the game was announced which most likely means it was being developed as a multi platform game and Microsoft came and bought it as a exclusive or timed exclusive which Microsoft does quite often.
Overall I would be extreamly surprised if the game never came to the PS3. I would expect a enhanced version of the game will make its way to PS3 like we are seeing with Trusty Bell.

I loved the previous one, and this game is probably going to ver good as well...but the only xbox 360 thing sucks

I loved Star Ocean 3. But I was surprised it was announced only for the 360. I assumed that it also for the PS3 (along with the 360 version). Either way I'm looking forward to this game.
