Hey! its been a long whiel since i whipped up a wall, and here's my skill duster.. what would ya think needs to be altered to ditched??
The scan looks like it could use some cleaning (you can se grains in the hoody) and the extraction could use some tweaks (flowers & hair.) The outter glow thing along the hoody (or it may be a result of your cleaning attempt.) should go to basically make this wall look better in quality. I love the twirly smoke thing you have going, but what slaughters this wall the most is the text. It looks almost filtered and don't use the drop shadow. Not too fond of the font choice either. :/ The bar on the bottom to show your signature isnt really needed either. Just use another color. XD

Thanks for the quick reply mate.. well. here's what i've done
1) Messed with the render, eliminated a bunch of the grainy spots on it
2) moved and changed text, but incase you didnt notice text is my bad point. im horrible at it..
3) cut little parts out of hair and flower.. if some are still there, please point em out to me, cause i cant see emwith my crappy monitor. xD
4) dicthed bottom bar in favor of stroke
4)ditched outer glow
also, a good cleaning technique would be sweet from a pro like you, all i did was take lo opacity and fill eraser and erase grainy parts on the duplicated layers, but anythin anyone could do would be SUPER

Well I have my own methods of cleaning depending on the scan I work with, but here's a good one:
tutorial
Dont place the text on top. >_< Id put it right under the end of the squiggle on the left. Dont even bother using fancy fonts. In your case, it doesnt even match. Take a look at the mood Hitsugaya is in now. It's sad and serene, not so much angst as your new text depict... I find the best fonts are simple fonts, even the basic ones.. And if you take a looka t my recent walls, theyre always capitalized and S P A C E D to create a kinda cool effect. Dont put a gradient on the text. Just a slight glow or stroke. Try that.
Also to make the wall more dramatic, have Hitsugaya's lighting match the BG's. Use the RENDER>LIGHTING EFFECTS.

Haha i actaully used that method once.. haha wow.. small world.. lol.. but i did it again, and it actually worked alot more the 2nd time, did the text. i tried that earlier too, but the pen tool was being difficult, got it now tho,
Small world? Not really. There's a difference in this case. And that would be that that particular site is quite popular. For obvious reasons ^^; Some of those wallers if not all are on this site as well. ^^

Something about the colors and that the rendering effect in that tutorial makes the layer underneath the duplicate cut back a little (Look at the chin. Notice the ghost effect?) But anyway, have Hitsugaya less bright by creating a new layer, press CTRL and left click the layer Hitsugaya's duplicated layer is on. (That would be the unfiltered one) and fill it black. Then blend it to soft light and play with the contrast... And since I have no other ideas right now as Im lacking sugar, Id only suggest you put some textures on this wall to hide all the crap above mentioned.. Yes, when in doubt, add a sandbox on it... yeah... Dont listen to me. -_- Where's another set of eyes when you need it...?

I like this one much better than the first. He looks more "alive". The only thing I think you should consider is to brighten the flower, but only if the flower is a big symbol in the picture; doing this might take away from the butterfly, or "soul".
Ya.. i thot about that, but the main focus prolyl should be the waves and the futterfly, but if it gets rejected, ill brighten up the flower and the area around it
Argh, don't texture the scan. It makes it look as if you'd never cleaned it. >_< There's a weird rainbow color going across his wrist and flower I think because of the texture you blended over them. Just place it on the BG LIGHTLY... His hands are much too dark now. o.0

Ya, i noticed that post-submission, the flower thing and the hand.. i HOPE it gets rejected now, haha i'll take the -100 papers if it keeps a crapy wall that IM guilty of making xD

wtf is a scan moire? as well as a color bleed.. i have no idea, i mean, im no pro, but im pretty traveled in the GFX community and i have never heard either of these terms.. time to google!!
