Your res is the problem. Rememeber that the minimum resolution for AP is 1024x768 pixles. ^^
Again, your bg is the main problem as far as i see it. I listed the mistakes below:
1.) Your bg dear, please..the uh..tiles you're using as bg isn't do anything good. I see some spots in the right part where you overdid the leaves tile and it's getting on the plain tile. like this:

2.) I don't know you mean it or not, but i think the leaves tile should be in the same pattern only. You make too much variation here.
3.) The scan is a little bit grainy, especially the boy's part.
4.) You forgot your sig, dear..

I didn't know but, the true resolution of that wallpaper is 1024 x 768
but when i uploaded it in imageshack, it suddenly changes its own size even when i didn't changed it..

Maybe you pushed that 'resize image' button. Well i don't think it's a problem unless you want to submit it.
Perhaps you could work at with a different texture, to make a little more equitable the main image that you have. I believe that it would be a second option.
Hhhmm...as I can see there...I'm not having problem with the scan...well..It's just that your background is too simple..maybe adding some detail may do...good luck on that wall!
